actually i'm assumimg the idea that anyone who is registered has in fact played the game and therefore would have an opinion so they would count as any of the registered users could give a review not just those actively playing right now

No your "Assuming" that all these registered players agree with you and the white knights that this game is fine and dandy. and everything is rainbows and pixie dust. PGI is the greatest and can do no wrong they gave us mechwarrior back yipppieee! cue in smurfs theme song. This "Silent Majority" that gets so spoken of is nothing but a political/buisness spin tool to use to cover up b.s. And if there was a "Silent Majority" the simple fact that they are silent make using them a mute point simply cuz they are "Silent" and have no say nor feedback..which as beta testers we were and still are obligated and required to due give feedback both positive and negative. Telling pgi something is broken repeatedly and it getting ignored to the point that the as you would call them "haters" scream on the forums, speak volumes about the lack of professional care towards the product pgi is making. It also speak highly of there lack of experince working with the public.

I'm assuming no such thing... i was commenting directly on people posting the metacritic score as if it represented anything meaningful its 629 reviews from a basic playerbase of 1.3 million potential reviewers the majority who bothered to post reviews were negative but the entire amount of people who contributed to that score are minute enough to be negligible round down and its no one round up and its still such a small minority as to be meaningless.

i should also point out that i haven't stated where i stand.. your only "assuming" i don't agree with you because you don't like what i say

If people are gonna go {Noble MechWarrior} it at praise the game at least use some sanity and give it a serious score a game that releases with such a large list of unreleased content cant in any seriousness be a score of 10/10.

Not because of any of the hate or missed deadlines or anything, this game simply cannot be a 10/10 because if the things talked about (see here http://mwomercs.com/...mmunity-warfare and everything that needs UI2.0) were added into the game it would be a completely different game altogether (also see here http://mwomercs.com/...-3-role-warfare and here http://mwomercs.com/...rmation-warfare)

As I have said before the scores of 0-9 are way way more believable about a game going from beta to launch than all the 10/10 everything is 100% perfect reviews, and dont get me started on the crazy people who say 10/10 but then list downsides anyway...

0's are not believeable either. The game plays and runs fine. That is cause to be more than a 0. So maybe 1-9?

you miss the point that you and the white knights are using these 1.3 million registered users as a statistic that would voice or have a voice that agrees with your views, or would even have a view. The arrogance to think that you or anybody else could assume that any given number of them would in fact post a review, post a comment on the game, or even have played long enough to form an opionion beyond nope didn't like the game, is absurd! Also nobody knows how many of those registered players are in fact the same player on multiple accounts, or people sharing the same ip address. So using that static as a way of making your statement or view point is mute and invalid, simply because you nor anybody else can answer for them except themselves. And again since they are silent or have not contributed to any type of feedback towards this game either positive or negative they have no say at all.

if there would be just an alternative, would be 2x great, u would have to work harder, and if your product or company sucks i could switch to the other egoshooter-bt-mech game because maybe they dont lie and communicate with the community and let me give my statement on yt to their official launch trailer

The number 1.3 Million says nothing because you cannot delete your account. So in this numbers are all player quit the game, players only tested the game and quit it, players who play only 1th a month to see there is nothing, 2nd and 3rd accounts... A number of player who are playing more than 20 matches a month would be more interesting

Totally underwhelmed by this Launch. They can call this game whatever they want, but until they get all the core features into the game, it's still beta. This is just a marketing ploy, and a poor one at that.

hawken wot and others are no alternatives. this is the only game with bt mechs in ego shooter. you seem to be no mech lover. no one who loves this franchise would ever compare mechwarrior with hawken.........

Makes me wish Exteel was still available in NA, now them were some good times indeed!

After spending my founders MC on 3 hero mechs and one trial by fire sale (wanted the engines and parts) I can't see myself buying more MC anytime, ever, which makes me sad at the same time.

I love Mechwarrior and sometimes I even enjoy this.

I think I have 8 or 9 accounts; none but this one have ever been used. I've asked PGI to delete them. Here is the last response I got:

We are unable to outright delete accounts due to legal reasons. If the account is inactive for a long period of time it will automatically be archived. If you are concerned about your personal information in your account profile, we can replace the information with place-holder details and lock the account.

So...1.3 million quoted, while knowing they do not delete inactive accounts even by request. And when you don't give people the ability to change their callsign, etc., this is what you get. A bloated meaningless number that's good for nothing but snippets and soundbytes.
