Wow....so many negative posts. I would submit to any of you who are dissatisfied with the playability or graphics or anything else for this free-to-play game, that you are free-to-play an expensive store bought game .....

Thoughts? Comments?
I would drop 80 bucks on a complete AAA Mechwarrior title in a heartbeat! The reason some of us still hang around is because this was suppose to be the answer to our MW prayers. I have been waiting 13 years for a decent, official MW game and was very excited when PGI said they were going to fulfill our dreams and bring back MW.

I personally don't give a **** about the nitpicking. Weapon values can change, mechs can be tweaked, etc. I am dissatisfied with the lack of a real game here. It's not f'in rocket science to give us some very BASIC things that would help this game tremendously.

A good example is this ELO BS matchmaking. In the same amount time they f'd around with that, they could have made some basic dropship lobbies that let us select various options (total weight, mech classes, map, etc). Right now we are in an automated Combat Engine that we have ZERO control over. You can't select your mech based on map type, or communicate with your drop mates. No, instead of giving us some control and allowing us to teach new players, by giving us dropship lobbies of some kind, they would rather put in 3PV.

For those of you satisfied with a COMBAT ENGINE, there is nothing wrong with that. But I have been playing some version of MW since 1989. I played on GENIE, KESMAI, AOL, MPBT:3025, and all the stand alone games and know that it can be so much more.

PGI has the foundation to do something great but all I have seen over the last year is a dog chasing its tail.

-Sad and Disappointed with PGI
(Never thought I would see the day someone could f'it up worse than EA)
