I prefer my version of the event. You dont get a prize, you'll need pen & paper but its much more satisfying.

"in order to celebrate the launch of 24 new mechs, we have a special event for you! hunt down and KILL each new mech to win a <non-existant> prize!"

most of you sound like fat people tryingt o sue maccs for making them fat..

If you dont like the game.. dont play it.. dont come to the forums and hate on it because you were stupid enough to pay during an open beta.. I paid for it.. Not entirely happy with it.. but hey.. not my game.. got plenty of other games I can play.. not going to waste my time crying like a ***** over something I CHOSE to do...

you all could have waited until release to decide whether you wanted to pay.. but no, THE SHINYS got you, trinkets and deedlyboppers made your decision for you... deal with it.. either that or ask for a refund and ****.. life to short to listen to people ***** about trivial things...

This guy right here. Oh, this guy right here...

Stupid enough to pay and try to support a game from a small studio? They asked for support, we tried to give it to them. We tried to help them, we gave them feedback and they responded with BS. We purchased a game because many of us grew up with the title and wanted to do what we could to ensure that our hopes for a decent Mechwarrior game were met, to the best of ours and their abilities. We have a right to complain. You've been a member for a month and you say you paid for the game? Hmmm... methinks you're full of sh*t. By the way, YOU sound like one of those internet bada**es who probably hasn't seen his feet since he was seven. Crawl back under your rock.

Lol.. he got a refund and he's still here having a caniption.. wanna go around calling people names.. dont get a refund and then stay about just to throw hostilities at people.. you have no axe to grind in this fight.. you've got your money back.. take a walk mate

And let the likes of your destroy Battletech so that no developer wil EVER pick this up when this "thing" roll's over because you have the critic mind of a chipmunk? Hell no.

The nay Sayers are a vocal minority. Carry on PGI. Good stuff.

I set that one up on the t-ball stand for you.

Aww, c'mon, buck up little soldier. You, with your brand new account and blind faith in PGI, are obviously the silent majority they've been tailoring the game to and waiting for.

Wipe is just like new features for release- we get neither. :)

Thanks for the reply. its a shame that there was no wipe but i will download and give the game another go.

cheers

Good stuff PGI. Well played with mostly fixes for launch. Nothing worse than a launch that starts with an embarrassing set of game killing bugs.

Can we at least get some screenshots of Community Warfare? At least its interface?

Or...idk...a post giving a detailed account of how it will work?

Or...maybe just a vague post confirming its still alive?

Anything?

I think Open Beta had more fanfare than this. Hell Closed Beta was more exciting.

Congrats on the milestone anyway.

My personal opinion is that they are just string this along implementing patches that were done prior to January of last year trying to nurse out just as much money as they possibly can before the entire thing implodes onto itself. The amount of improvement since closed beta is mindbogglingly minuscule, and in some ways the game is actually less than it was in closed. Most of the add features were probably done from closed to January, other than 3pv and maybe revamping the hit detection I really don't see where all the manhours they claim, more importantly all of our money went into.

Even a small studio should have accomplished far, far more in the time they had from closed until now.

at least half of the posts are people that are disapponted in this patch. It makes me worry that the money i spent was wasted :)

Well honestly ignore the feelings of other players (the negative and positive) and look at the facts yourself, make your own decision on if you think your money was wasted or not.

This is it? This is your launch? A crappy patch and a thumbs up that you're live? What a bunch of amateurs!

BTW, you've been live ever since you started taking our money.

AND I STILL DO NOT HAVE WHAT I PAID FOR, COMMUNITY WARFARE!!!

I would say they have waged quite a successful war on the community... is that not what you thought they meant?

Comstar is having a party - grab teamspeak3 and join their free, open, public ts3 server for lots of games and shenanigans!

See what happens when top players from a bunch of units get together and go play together:

Yes, it is the fault of the critics, not the management or the developers. It is the critics at fault here. It's perfectly okay to think MWO was mishandled while still enjoying BattleTech and MechWarrior in general you know. Don't feel obligated to defend MWO just because you favor the IP, that's rather disgusting.

yeah.. wrong wrong wrong... I have 2 accounts and love the game.. I bought a second account for my son to play with me.. and I and very happy with my purchase..

look you guys are full of hostilities towards PGI.. LOOOONG before I came here to troll you over your choice.. and thats what you made.. an ill informed choice.. you could have played the game free until just before launch and still recieved all the benefits of the phoenix package.. but no.. you jumped in at the start with no knowledge of PGI's intent.. you just assumed it was going to be what you wanted[noble mechwarriors].. and if it wasnt you figured you could come here and drive their project into the ground because its not what YOU wanted.. along with that you got sucked in by the microtransaction model.. I see a pattern of stupid decsions coming from your direction..

admit it.. you made a stupid decsion and you've been crying about it ever since..

Dont hide behind the excuse of 'we love this game and want to see it go places' if you loved the game you wouldnt be whining on the forums about how bad the launch is and blah blah blah...

enjoy your cynical life.. [noble mechwarriors]

I know that my guild (myself included) would probably come back to this game if there was some RvR. Any idea when the whole inner sphere fighting stuff is suppose to come out?

I am here till my money is back on my bankaccount^^

So White Knights, please answer me ONE question. In more than over a year 40 employees worked fulltime in this project and worked 70-80.000 Hours. Do you really think that a few poor maps, a few new mechs and some fixes need 70 - 80.000 Hours?

interesting...

Play any 24 games (win, lose or draw) between September 17th and October 1st (10am PDT) to receive a cool in-game “Operation 24” hanging cockpit item automatically.

since we were supposed to get a "3050 cockpit item" for the last reward and did not receive it, will we actually receive this one?

i doubt it.

At the start of open beta. (was it not?)
