With no real additional features its just like any other patch you've done. A while back I was hyped for launch since I thought CW and the UI update would be in and polished. Even if they weren't polished I'd still have hope and feel that progress has been made.
To me personally this is a rather disappointing and depressing launch.

And all the exciting features are coming next year apparently..
Alas, just keep waiting for each patch and play some matches along the way...

I see the game environment as an ongoing living experience.. a Journey... not a destination.... for those of us who are enjoying the trip.... please lets make the scenery, the experience, better? We've been driving along the beach for too long, we know that the water is on the right, and trees on the left... Upcoming snowy mountain in the distance... Oh... look! Another crashed drop ship... starting to get tedious, pointless, is this really a gameish... ? I dont want the end result to feel like I'm grinding "World of Warcraft" Dailies.
Y'all have us on this ride.... time to show us what it can do!

How exactly did you spend 800? I bought everything they had, always had premium, bought every Hero, and I am at about 400? How in hell did you get to 800? I am really curious. Not that your other points are invalid, just curious about this one.
Like I said, time is more valuable to me than money. I religiously convert XP. I've even been known to buy a mech for MC and scrap it for Cbills so I can get that big shiny engine I want for my flavor of the day without having to grind for it. Grinding is lame. I've been known to buy a mech and instantly master it with GXP. Hell, I've elited an entire group of mechs just so I could master one.
$120 Founders
$80 Phoneix
$40 Sabre
$100 - 1 year premium
$400 - 4x 25,000 MC purchases.
Ok so it's technically $740, I exaggerated $60 of it.

Anyways, I am not spending a single penny on this game until I see something like CW, UI 2.0 and all the major features we are anticipating; that's if I will still be playing this game by the time they are out.
Bear in mind, many of us are here because we are loyal to the BT franchise otherwise we wouldn't care about this game at all.

Celebrate Launch and the fielding of 24 `Mechs on the battlefield with Operation 24! Play any 24 games (win, lose or draw) between September 17th and October 1st (10am PDT) to receive a cool in-game “Operation 24” hanging cockpit item automatically.
I just counted again and it looks like there are only 21 'Mechs currently in the game (chassis that is). So where does the 24 'Mechs thing come in? Are they surprising us with 3 new mechs? Or did I somehow miscount...

Think about it... this is their big launch day and what sort of sale do they bring forth.... the 3rd Orion based sale in a month.
You could have done something like:
- for 3 days only +50% MC!
- A & B Hero Mechs 30% off (like your last one that was way better)
- for 3 days only all mechs are 30% off MC Price
I could go on but the common theme here is that the orion sale only applies to those who are still on the fence while my examples applies to anyone who is willing to open their wallet.
