Do people look at metacritic? I thought consensus was that it was just a place ragekids go to vent their righteous anger about some game where they didn't have their way.

I give MWO a 9 for what we have of it so far. It's a very nice simulation of mechs. I don't like some of the methods used to balance/nerf the weapons, I think the real problem will turn out to be the mechs needed to be tougher to damage, but that's why it gets a nine.

I can't judge things I haven't seen yet so they just get a pass. The core gameplay is pretty good, but you need the rest of what is yet to come to hold players.

So I think I get this thread now. It's about how going crazy and yelling at people with founders tags for disagreeing with you is a BAD thing, right? Like a heavy handed after school special sort of thing? Any minute now some poster's going to start singing "I'm so excited" and then break down in tears because it turns out they took too many caffeine pills, and then we'll all have learned a valuable lesson.

I looked at the metacritic reviews for MWO and laughed my balls off at both ends of the spectrum. People that could barely spell writing "DIS GAME R BAD AND PGI R LIES" giving zeroes and "I GAVE THIS GAME A 10 - IT'S REALLY AN 8 BUT BLAH HATERS BLAH ******** BLAH".

I learned that metacritic is a load of old toss, and that numerical review metrics are a waste of everyone's time.

Good to see that the mods seem to have recovered from the recent outbreaks.

Hell, i even started to like Heffay over the last few pages. Everything is possible, it seems.

Maybe even PGI manages to turn this around... it's not to late. Even recruted a friend for MWO yesterday, although i admit to have warned him about spending more money then needed. Unlike me, he has some disposable income.

When CW and UI 2.00 are finally out i might even change my rating on Metacritic.

I actually just had to do that The logitech K200 seems to have a power button that serves only to put the PC into a sleep mode that ignores all wake commands. It's bizzare.
