@ Citizen, Oy !! ROFL. Good stuff. Found out I can laugh and groan at the same time.
@ Merroc, Can't be positive about energy build, whether or not it's 2 LRLL's or just 2 LL's but is packing 2 UAC5's and no missiles.
the strange build comes from not utilizing the missile hardpoints.
Welcome Dano. Glad to have you with us. O7 !!

I know what the cockpit glass is, but I have no idea what they mean by cockpit glass effect. I guess I'll have to play the game to find out.
This is interesting concerning the catapult:

I still don't own a catapult. Back in the days of CB, all I played was my Jenner. Maybe it's time.

I love the (limited) cockpit glass effect! I don't notice it often, but on tourmaline and a couple other maps you can see a dust or haze look to it. Moving around you can see the light sources reflecting off of the dust differently, so it is really a cool addition to immersion. I can't wait to see what they do down the road with it, such as overheating, hits to the cockpit, etc. It's a small thing, but very cool IMO.
Oh, and I have a catapult again (sold my first one after I kept dying too easily) and can say that I have not been headshot lately that I am aware of. I still think the CT is a bit too large, but whether it is from these hitbox changes or my slight increase in skill, I am at least able to spread the damage around sufficiently to survive long enough to do decent in a match, which was not the case my first attempt (about eight months ago).

Welcome to our group sir glad to have you onboard with us for MWO. That makes 4 new pilots in about a day. Looks like our 2 new companies will have plenty of great recruits to work with.

They were always one of my favorite looking mechs, so I really wanted to love them when I started this game. Because of their geometry, though, it takes some skill before you can use them effectively. Now that I know how to use them, I agree that it's a pretty good chassis, and I'm also leveling my stalkers at the same time, so the torso twist difference is huge, lol - the stalker (non-3F) feels like I'm in a catapult with a neck brace on...

A: Write "Please turn over" on both sides of a piece of paper.
Q: Why can't blondes put in light bulbs?
A: They keep breakin em' with hammers.
Q: What goes VROOM, SCREECH, VROOM, SCREECH, VROOM, SCREECH?
A: A blonde driving through a flashing red light.
Q: What do UFO's and smart blondes have in common?
A: You keep hearing about them, but never see any.
Q: What do you call a blonde skeleton in the closet?
A: Last year's hide and seek champion.
Q: Why can't blondes make ice cubes?
A: Because they can't remember the recipe.

I loved my Stalkers... the 5S is a great brawler chassis with the dual AMS and the energy/missile slots. Used my 3F as an LRM boat for a while. Hope you have as much fun with them as I did

Wait, maybe I'm getting the 5S and 3F mixed up.... Whichever one has the better torso twist is by far better than the rest...

I'm the opposite. I need the torso twist for brawling, while an LRM boat needs very little twist to be effective.
