And many of you argue that only players with good ELO are always reasonable. Well, be social and learn to listen to others, your opinion is not the only one. It's hilarious to see advice from people that play well keep bragging on forums that they are the best (saw that multiple times in multiple MMOs). Most of the people who love open score systems actually are ones who are too self-centered, have psychological problems or just have to be internet warriors.
And if someone with low ELO is acting like a jerk, well... He will act like that regardless of visibility of ELO. Use your social skills to put him in place or just ignore him. Internet is full of jerks, nothing could fix that.

Still makes sense doesn't it? The point here is visible Elo helps no one. Why give people the opportunity to make judgement based on Elo, who does it help?
Maybe I'm just pessimistic, but I think if you give people rope, they'll hang themselves with it. Why not just judge suggestions based on their validity, and not of the Elo of the person who posted it?
As for the jab at low Elo players, thanks for giving a prime example of the dismissive attitudes some people have against low Elo players. A completely unfounded, and somewhat ignorant stab, at a whole group of people who you've never met, probably never will, but lo and behold you mocked them anyway. Precisely why visible Elo is damaging to the community.
