Key things that don't quite make sense to me:
-Faction standing only accumulates. Play as a Kuritan loyalist (either merc or faction), fight Davion to max out Kurita standing, switch to Davion, fight Kurita... maintain Kuritan standing while grinding out davion standing. You would think the ISF in Kurita would take notice of this turncoat. :-)
-Flipping a front allows mercs to attack inner planets, but what happens if the front flips again against those mercs assaulting a planet inside the enemy zone? Do the mercs get to keep attacking, or keep ownership?
-Confirms the emphasis on mercs over faction players; the cool strategy and logistics will be for mercs only. I was expecting it, but somewhat disappointed.
-If the main benefit to CW is cheaper stuff, not quite sure it will be enough to interest people. I guess we will have a clearer idea when PGI works out the "rank table" of levels 1-60 to see what exactly the perks are.

The reason was given. You will have to have max standing with all factions to Join Wolf's Dragoons.

While I am no great expert in BT lore, I feel it breaks things pretty badly. Loyalty in a feudal culture (which is pretty much what the I.S. is reduced to more or less) is a key thing -- gallivanting from house to house is not the norm.

I mean, seriously, let's face it, considering he didn't show anything that proves they are already coding these things, how is what he said any different from he told us 21 (twenty one) months ago in this article ( http://mwomercs.com/...mmunity-warfare ) ?

It is indeed fairly obvious we are looking at draft version 0.05 or so. I get the feeling that many key things have not been fully studied or analyzed -- its like a napkin version of what they will be doing. I hope.
When I saw the map with the "flip" change, it made me think of DAoC -- high level players fighting in the warfronts to flip access to the darkness falls dungeon (not sure thats the right name, been too long. ;-) ).

Exactly. Some people are good at talkin and some people are good at walkin. Two years later pgi is still talking. Give me one piece of content, just one, that doesn't involve a mech, map, or one modified game mode. Just one single piece of content.

Nothing we haven't heard already before and he's good at producing hot air, no substance.
He's lucky he runs the ship. Any project manager that produced the same results as he does would have been fired long ago.
But then every company needs the BS talking sales manager to get funding. Problem is most companies show results.
