Hehehe, personally, I've just gotten use to the strange sentencing structure these stories seem to use.

Or, I don't know, you could try to use your memory, and recall this happens EVERY week, so dropping just before 1pm Eastern or 11am Western (North American time) is you're own dang fault. Also, as stated, UI2.0 is supposed to fix this.

I know I'm just one of the new guys, but I love how often MWO has sales!! The amount of sales on the other MMOs I play are as rare as hen's teeth. Granted, I'm not going to make use of this sale as these items aren't on my list of shiny things to collect, but I'm sure they're on someone's list and I'm sure that the items I want will be on sale soon enough.

It's funny how people can never see that the world and relevance does not rotate around them. Something one person does not care about may actually be exciting to another person. I can comb the internet and find a hundred sales that I could care less about and make no sense to me.....but that does not make them universally useless.

This sale doesn't interest you? Cool, move along.....move along.

They just put two very popular hero mechs on 30% off 2 weeks ago. Along with XP conversion, and several other things. What, do you want a major sale every week? Kinda assumes a basic misunderstanding of the meaning of the word "sale".

I do enjoy the weekly fix of "surprise" when the latest patch update / sale / quasi-sale goes out. If its good, Like the one with XP Conversion, Premium Time, and Firebrand, great! and if its a "same-old" then well, till next week then. No problem. I have come to really look forward to the once in a while good sale. Nothing beats the ??That's All?? Launch though. I support the Tournament Champion Mech Config Sale!

See those mechs on sale? Those are actually mechs on the trial rotation before the launch day, so it's actually "Trial by Fire" in reverse... except that every newbie that were in those trial mechs were murdered in cold blood by other players and veterans that had custom mechs.


Instead of more griping, here's my Cold Blood sale story:

Feeling blue? It might be because I nailed you with Large Lasers in cold blood.

See that Raven? I legged that chicken in cold blood.

See that Quickdraw? I backshot it in cold blood.

See that Stalker? That crazy person shot you in cold blood.

There we go. It wasn't special, but it was quick and painless. Now if I could only obliterate bad sale pitches in cold blood.
