They need to make the forward thrust aspect toggle-able. There are times when I do not want forward thrust.

A prime example, is when I am running backwards.

It should be tied to your throttle setting:
Forward throttle - Forward thrust.
Zero throttle - No lateral thrust.
Reverse throttle - Reverse thrust.

That is a damn solid point.

Though on the other hand it looks like you can obtain some wild vektors instead of just the straight line business hopefully.

Thrust vectoring would fix the problem. It was in the games, lore, and TT. So what is so game breaking that we cannot have it?

I hope this is the case...

If it isn't, I really wish they'd ask for feedback before major changes like this are put in.

Because if it's vectored, people can't hover.

Aka, poptarting becomes much harder, since you'd move forward. Makes it kinda difficult to jump up and down behind a rock.
