Founders and Champion bonus were increased "lately".

Founders also provide 30% CBill instead of the 25%, but I'm not sure when they got changed.

So:
Champion +30% XP bonus
Founder & Hero +30% CBill bonus

Apparently my search-fu is miserable. Allow me to bow to your superior research skills, Reno.

(I probably shouldn't be researching 'Mech bonuses at work...)

Founders 'Mechs are all designated as Hero 'Mechs according to the 2.0 UI, so presumably they were stealth-upgraded at the same time they were designated as such.

So I done goofed, tried to set up my own Merc Company but since I wanted to limit it to 12 players, I put myself at the Captain's rank and deleted all the ranks above it. Now I don't have access to half the things you can do as the commander (like disband the unit, use donated funds etc.) How do fix this?

Don't worry, there is a lot of stuff all over the forum and remembering changes help a lot in finding the source :P
comes with forum addiction and daily check for new DEV posts since the beginning of Mechwarrior :)

The changes to Founder bonuses and Champions happened within the last 2 months. I think it might still be a slide on the front page carousel. Or at least until yesterday when CW might have replaced it.

Chances are there aren't 12 people signed up to attack/defend. So you are queued up with anywhere from 1 to 10 other people waiting for the rest to show.

Hmm...that was asked in the Paul posts but I don't think he gave a definite answer, just "they should work, I'll go check" but never told us for sure if they did worked properly.

Mech with only Ammo based weapons (or mostly ammo based weapons) that has run out of ammunition

It was a requested feature for such circumstances.

However if you are part of a team or the battle is close, it would be a good idea to tank damage for your team, or if a fast mover, get behind an enemy say and block his line of retreat.

As Shar Said it could be useful if you are out of ammo, also if you are completely disarmed.

in the past I have often disabled a Mech, left it with no weapons and just 1 leg, that Mech is now moving at less than 40pkh with no weapons, if you did this to most of the defenders on a CW map, and there wsa no eject mechanism you have an easy win, in order for them to stop you their teammates would have to finish them, which would be a team kill with the relevant earnings penalty, hence the eject mechanism to allow someone a fresh Mech if they get disabled

A question due to my issues of deciding what to go with.

I recently got the victor 9S (C) (from the "Victor" challange), the King crab -000 (L) (1 year anniversary).
I got 3 centurions with only 1 upgraded and other two stock/ not skilled. (AH (L), A, ,AL). I got 3 griffons with 2 upgraded (1N, 3M, 1E "Sparky"), the 2 upgraded ones are skilled to basic.

I got 1 spider but already mastered it. (spider was my first mech and only had 10 mech bays, I wasn't certain if I will get more so I sold the 4 ballistic and ECM one to get more mechs. Now I got over 70 mech bays full and nearly 90 mechs)

I am not sure what I should do.
Should I first...

A) Upgrade [?] mech and then skill it up for mastery.
B ) Buy a new mech to get a trio for mastery.
C) Buy an entirely new mech because I want it.

I am thinking of re-buying the other two spiders due to the quirkening and I am slightly starting to miss them.

The other thing is I am a clanner in CW and my group of clan mechs are getting stale using them over and over as well as the max tonnage of 240 tons limits my options to a specific combo off mechs.

(3 kitfox, 3 mist lynx, 3 stormcrow, 3 nova, 3 ice ferret, 3 warhawks, 3 direwolfs)
I am thinking of getting an adder for a heavier light mech (was thinking off getting this until king crab happened)
There is also the part I need a heavy mech as well so I can have say 3 heavy mechs and a medium/ light or some other combination.

I do not need any IS mech for CW yet. I got a lot that is capable of CW if I ever switch to an inner sphere.

I just cannot find out how to change camo patterns in the mechlab. With the last patch i should have received a ghost bear pattern + colors. Colors are there but where is the pattern? If i click on the blue "pattern" nothing happens. wth?
