The CT omnipod is what defines a clan mech and cannot be switched. XP is tied to it, etc.

Approximately one match over the course of leveling by my math. No doubt in my mind that tailored loadout is worth more.

Also Saw a thread that jump jets cannot be put on mechs that don't have them. Is that rule still in effect? Was going to switch my BJ -1C for an Arrow to take advantage of the cbills bonus.

Yes, PT stacks.
JJs are a variant-specific option (like ECM). The -1DC and -1X cannot mount them, other BJs can. Also, quirks make the variants very different these days. If you're running AC/5s on your 1DC, they won't be nearly as effective on the Arrow.

Yeah I think i saw that the Arrow gets an AC/20 quirk. So was just going to redesign it on the champion model, but not before trying it out as it is. Don't have any Hero variants at the moment but have the Centurion AH and King Crab with 30 percent cbills bonus.

The Arrow does get AC20 quirks, the -1 gets (useless) AC2 quirks. It has been hinted that BJs may get requirked in the second pass, so I would recommend keeping that in mind when considering purchases.

In another words, I point TAG on him, get TAG bonus but cannot get lock on it.
Was there some patch note recently or bug about TAG behaviour or what?
Edit, as I can recall it, this happens mostly on Tourmaline Desert. Atlas walking straight toward me, or ECM light standing in front of me for example...

That is no bug, basically the TAG gets jammed if fired within 180m of an ECM, as far as I know it has always been that way
below is a quote from the MWO wiki

If TAG is fired under 180 meters of an active ECM field, you don't get the lock. TAG is jammed.

I believe so. You can lock on to the O-Gens, and even Omega. So I would assume they can work on them. (bear in mind, this is speculation, and deduction).
I was asked that question earlier today, and had no idea if they worked or not.

we're gonna need a volunteer CW drop to test this out. I will say this though: If you have LoS on the gens, you should be shooting them, not marking them. LRMs are ineffectual against some of the O-Gens, and you'd be faster than those slow missiles.

I agree.... I never carry LRMs...so I had no idea if that would work or not....so I couldn't give any kind of answer

You're better off delivering a NARC. An enemy with ECM can instantly remove that NARC, however.
Note: Some Generators are protected from the top down, so only missiles coming in at an angle will work on them. This precludes being able to LRM it from the ground bear the gate and sort of requires you to be either far and LRM'ing (the Trench on the left side of Boreal Rift is an ideal location) or on the hill where enemies can shoot you (defeating the purpose of using the LRMs).
