Not currently. By the language used to announce the feature they implied that there would be at some point in the future but at the moment, you're stuck with minimising them every time (or just get used to them).

I just tried logging on 3 times to the MWO forums (correct url and all) but the page immediately showed "error: pleae use username and password - 01103€~>01" and underneath that, was the usual username and passcode option that every site has you need to put in your (obviously) username and passcode, but it failed all 3 times when I tried, but on the 4th attempt, the MWO forums loaded without any trouble.
I clear cookies and cache periodically (at least 2-3 times a week and there are no viruses or malware or anything of that kind on my computer that I am using, so I was wondering, does anyone know what caused that and further, if anyone else has had something to that effect happen to them within the last, say, 2-3 months?
Thanks for any replies and.or help.

If it becomes a reoccurring issue, I'd shoot support a ticket and see if they can find anything.

A. Yes.
Q. Why?
A. This game has a low population, and an extreme amount of these people are to dumb to do anything else.

Actually, I've had a number of games recently where lance command called out to "halt the nascar at {a strategic location for that game}". Most the team did so each time and we ended up completely stomping the other team as they rounded the bend and slammed right into our set lines... was really fun {insert big grin here} So no, I'd say that there are plenty of people that are using nascar-ing effectively/with discretion?

I see a summary which weapons hit me, and what caused the death (like CT gone), but is there a way to get a more detailed information what was the deciding hit?
Like: medium laser thru rear center torso
Hey PGI, ever thought of a kill cam? That could be a gain for atmosphere and maybe for me to learn sth...
Last hit, plus the paperdoll shows you exactly how you died. Your mech can only be killed in one of the following ways:
1- Head destroyed
2- CT destroyed
3- ST destroyed with an IS XL engine
4- Both STs destroyed with a Clan XL engine
So if you see the last hit weapon + your paperdoll, you'll know exactly how, and why you died

Not exactly. Nascaring has it's own merits, and reasons for becoming so prominent. It requires minimum coordination and management from the team, since it's the basic rehearsed movement that everyone is familiar with. It uses the terrain to aid it's execution, and it is very simple.
The tactic is also very flawed, but that's a gamble people seem to not mind, since it's one that can be done without any real management or coordination.

The main reason people Nascar is because generally mechs weapons are right mounted (more so back in the poptart era) so good teams use that to their advantage. But pugs being pugs just go with the easy option and do it everytime without looking what mechs have dropped where etc.
I wonder how many players actually know how to bring the overlay up in a game to see the list of friendly players health, mech and location.

Okay, first... for some reason that phrase actually made me laugh out loud just now...

...on with the question...
Now that I'm on Mediums and parked the Assaults, I've noticed a difference in lance composition and wanted to get the answer on how pug's are put together as I'm now puzzled....
My Assaults always dropped with three other Assaults. I just assumed it was the same for all but now that I'm non-Assault chassis, I'm dropping in what I consider a "proper" lance from BT days... a light, medium, heavy, and assault. or blend thereof. Is the reason that Assaults seem to always drop together due to PGI's realization of PUGlandia combined with the speed of assaults that they get segregated apart in non-balanced lances? Or am I missing something or just reading too much into it?

The matchmaker is designed to always try grouping lances by tonnage in PUGs. Assaults are more likely to be grouped with other assaults and so on. In group drops it will instead try to match by groups, putting people of the same premade as close together as possible.

Why do some mechs that I spectate on have ejector seats? These are in regular games rather than CW, and I've never seen a module or option that allows you to bail.

you cannot have a cannon unit name or faction name as your unit name, PGI have a list of cannon unit names which cannot be used. however you could be e.g. Ice Hellion Crusaders, or Ice Hellion 21st cluster
below is a link to the list of forbidden unit names,
https://docs.google....T9RUqA/htmlview
yes "Clan Ice Hellion" is on the list but just "Ice Hellion" is not
also if a name is already taken by another unit you cannot have that name

3 light, 1 medium
2 medium, 2 heavy
1 heavy, 3 assault
Hopefully this allows lances of similar speed and tactics to stay and work together... but, you know, pug.

It also does not take into account the max speed of the mechs involved. Some heavies go 60 and some go 80, and if you have both types on your team, the MM kind of just drops them wherever. Heck, I have a couple mediums that go only 70, and being that guy in a lance of IS lights going 120+ is kind of blegh.

no idea, that has not been in long enough for people to get used to it and provide feedback beyond the knee jerk "I dislike that game mode and should not have to play it".
