play with throttle decay on, it makes your driving much more precise and is very good on all agile mechs

you still can set the throttle level on the march with num pad, as soon as you touch 'w' or 's' it will be canceled

Did anything changed with north america host servers after last big patch? I mean when you released possibility to play on eu servers. I have huge packet loss on north america's servers from that time(but the strange thing is that the game shows me average lattencies almost all the time around 130-150. Just several times it jumps to horrible values as 1800, etc. ... but ALL the time I can see other player's mechs stuck on one place interuptibly like walking/stuck on place/walking/stuck on place). EU servers don't do any problem and I can play well from Czech Rep. with good lattency(from 30 to 50). Thanks.

Just one PS: my hw is well optimised for the game so it is not causing this problem. Im getting constantly 60 fps with v sync on so I can get even higher ..

send a ticket to technical@mwomercs.com, you will get an automatic response with instructions how to send screenshots of your tracerouting and pinging to their american server (i dunno if they added the european server's ip to the response, just in case its ip is 5.135.129.195), send them those and they can help with your routing

Foolish question i know so please spare the derisive comments. i am in the training videos and am trying to get back to the Mechlab but there doesn't seem to be a Home button.

Training videos? Those are on the website in your browser. The game itself should be minimized. The 2 are not in the same program. Unless you mean testing grounds or the tutorial in the client.

login to the website,
click the blue "download now" button, up the top of the screen
download and run the program
install the patcher
click the "patch" button
MWO will now download and install, that will probably take a few hours
when the patch button changes to say play click play
login to the game
now you will see the home button

Im sure its been asked before, but I cant seem to find an answer when I search for it im sorry. If I buy 1 of the kurita colors, does that unlock only that color or does it unlock all 3? is there a way to buy a full color schem if it only unlocks one? Same applies to the rest of the colors? if I buy a color out of the Blues packet do I only get that 1 color or do I get all the blues for that MC price?

just the one.

Colours are a universal unlock for that specific colour, if you buy Hot Rod Black you just get Hot Rod Black, nothing else.
the only single purchase to unlock a set of colours is part of a preorder pack, e.g. Clan Wave 2 or 3, or a Resistance pack.

In the past if you bought a premium CAMO that comes with its own colors (like Phranken), each color was applied and would add to the initial cost.
But if you bought this CAMO on another mech, you already owned the colors from your last purchase and only had to pay for the cost of the camo itself (like 1000MC).

Nowadays it seems that you do not automatically get the colors, but can buy the premium camo skins without the colors.

A color unlocks for all your mechs, and it's only that color. Unless you're talking about what is offered with the preorder packs, like "Kurita Faction Content". In that case, you'll get a unique camo for the mechs that qualify, and you'll get the colors included with the faction content, unlocked for all your mechs.

This is the New Player Help Section. No derisive comments here. Anyone that makes one of those, will get shut down by the rest of us. The community works hard to make this section of the forums very new-player friendly. So ask ANY, and all questions, regardless of how foolish you think they are.

Now, if you're watching training videos, that means you're on the website. The game is not browser based, and will require installation, as Jedi mentioned. We currently have only ONE interactive tutorial in-game (more will be coming soon™), and for the record, most of the videos in the training Grounds section of the website are dated. The User Interface looks very different now. The piloting mechanics are still the same though, so those videos are just fine.

Concerning settings for in-game use (sensitivity, acceleration and smoothness, I am having a bit of trouble trying to get my adjustments right after I had to re-download the game again and no matter what I set them to, I just cannot seem to play as well as I did before I have to reset them, so I was wondering if anyone would be able to take a screen shot of their game settings so I could take a look at what a few of you have so I could work out my settings accordingly and be able to do more in the game than just muddle around with the settings while the rest of my team mates fight on their own and possibly lose the match just because I am too busy muddling around with those three settings and be able to help my team mates Thanks.

I have been doing that for a few days now, and so far I have not been able to get it just the way it was before, but in-game someone game me some advice at leaving the settings at default-level, and that seems to do the trick... not as well as it was before, but then I am slowly getting used to it, even if my aim right now is shocking bad and I end up dying a heck of a lot faster than I used to (I used to be in the last 4 or 5 to die whenever a match went badly, but I suppose I will have to make do until I can tweak it just right.

It is not unheard of for the unlock to go on sale but I do not remember one shot ever going on sale

I remember it happening once. A friend of mine blew 100+MM CB just to save on putting Buccaneer on all those new mechs.

When I'm in que for a world defence, I have four mechs in the drop ship. Why am I limited to so few chassis and why aren't the clan mechs I own shown for options?
