One last thing, then I will leave you all alone in this thread and stop anooying/bothering you all - but how exactly do you raise your Tier ranking system in the game/ Before I stopped playing because my computerhad a meltdown, I was on level 5 tier, and now that I have not played for a good 6 months, what is the best way to raise your tier ranking system, at least to get to tier 4 or 3 (since level 1 and 2 tiers would be pretty much out of the question for me)?

Each game you play you gain or loose points, if your points get above or below a threshold your tier changes,

PSR gain or loss is calculated based upon your match score, basically anything which rewards you with XP or Cbills adds to your match score, but damage can account for more than half of your cbills/xp earnings so damage is the best thing to help raise your tier, the other thinkg like kills, assists, kill most damage, solo kill, lance in formation, scouting, flanking, and all the others which I cannot be bothered to type out give you more score, yet damage constantly seems to be an equil or greater point scorer than all those combined.

on a win your tier cannot go down, so if you always win the only way is up, if you loose and get less than, I think, 250 points you go down, damage makes up the bulk of your score so play your highest damage Mech and always get more than about 500 damage (I know, much easier said than done) or 300 with a bunch of kills, assists and other earners, you should only go up or stay the same.

Sowith that said, if you acccidentally hit a team mate with friendly fire, that would also count as lower the score system a bit (depending on the damage dealt to your team member/members or accidentally killing them, that would have a negative impact on the tier system?

Dang it, my post beklow the quote did not seem to go through :/

So, would it be right in saying that if you hit someone on your team with friendly fire, depending on how much damage or that you even kill them through an accident, is it safe to say that that also has an effect on your tier ranking? Such as it going down from friendly fire and the damage ratio you cause to your team mates or accidentally killing someone on your own team or does that not come into it where the tier ranking system is involved?

Did you preorder before September 30th? If not, then you didn't qualify for it. If so... Contact support?

That little symbol in this picture between the paper doll and speedometer, I'm assuming that tells you if there's a mech in your proximity (here, left side)? That's what it looks like, according to the map. Is that new with the patch or has it been in the game for a while? Where is it described in notes?

Spoiler

That is actually indicating that your torso is twisted. Been there for a couple patches now. You can turn the help guide on and off in the settings of the game.

In this picture's case, it's informing you that your legs are facing to the left of your torso.

Sometimes items get "stuck" when redeeming especially depending on the number of people that get account injections at once. It's possible it's just delayed by a few hours or a day. Still, contact support as suggested.

It affects your match score, so yes, but one occurrence will be negligible.

I don't believe they had that in MW2. They did have radar though, so you could "see" behind you via map. There also was a button you could push to initiate a rear view, but it wasn't very common to do from my experience.

Reference the Steam question, should be any change to existing accounts. If you want to link it to Steam, just Google the instructions. That will allow you to launch it from Steam and qualify or achievements.

As to the Voicebot question, it isn't a bot unless it does something for you automatically. If it simply allows you to use your voice as an input device, then extremely unlikely they would ban it. Especially since it would be great for people with limited mobility.

MW2 and MW2mercs had the ability to switch the MFD screens (f1-f12 keys and shift F1-F12 for the other side) where you could switch between paperdoll, HTAL bars, rear/top view, missile camera, radar, heat meter and something more.

MW4 had the toggle for left/right/rear/back cameras.

But anyway, with our radar limits and no rear camera, we have to be way more carefull about positioning, moving and team position to not get flanked or even attacked in the back, wich is way better than all seeing 360° radar, but not perfect yet (waiting for the PTS-3 radar effects to go live, yay) :)

Right, thanks for clearing that up.

I assume that if you do it on purpose (aka being a player-killer) then that would certainly count towards lowering your tier rank. Good thing I am not a player-killer (unless someone on my team tries to kill me on purpose) and best I watch my shots in the future.

Their dispersal pattern only.

Artillery strikes drop shells in a circular area around the smoke.
Air strikes drop a line of bombs going from the smoke away from the direction you were standing in relative to the smoke, when you placed it.
For air strike, it's like this. X=you when you used the air strike; o=smoke (were you placed the strike).
X o------>

Basically, Artillery is best placed in the middle of a group of enemies huddled together. Air is best if placed in front of an enemy and/or an enemy trying to hide behind a hill/wall.

yes
Air Strikes drop a line of bombs starting at the point you drop smoke going away from your Mech
Artillery Strikes drop a cluster of shells centered on the point you drop smoke

air strike is more accurate and more useful if the enemy are lined up, artillery is more useful of the enemy are clustered tightly together

smoke drops on your arm o recticule

I think my self and Koniving are the most common providers of long answers, mostly in cases when a short answer will not provide accurate information
