Still, it stuff like this that makes me curious.

Since you're so curious, I tested it: the answer is yes.

Very cool... I like when thing that seem logical actually is.

Is it possible to return a mechs camo to its original default? So that it looks just like it did when it was first bought? Especially when it comes to hero mechs?

And if so, how do you do it?

Sure.
Just click on the hexagons on the bottom right of the one showing your camo. Also works for colors, decals and bolt-ons.

I think there should be an option to revert to stock weapons for every build in the game. Why isn't there a similar button? Posted Image

I mean, you can always use MechDB to get the loadout code for the stock configuration.

Because stock builds generally don't work well in this game.

With 654 standard, hero and legend chassis in the game, viable stock builds are exceptions rather than the rule.

If I cash in my loot bags and do not login until more than 14 days after the conclusion of the event, will I still receive my loot?

I'm going to be unable to play for a while and I'm trying to preserve my premium time.

Define loot?
This is what the page says about loot bags.

Quote

The Loot Bags will disappear on Aug 31st, 2023 5:00:00 PM (PDT) / Sep 1st, 2023 12:00:00 AM (UTC)! Redeem your eligible matches on the event page before that deadline or they will be forfeit!

So for the bags I'd say no.
For the extra rewards like the heroes I'm not sure.

Redeem your loot bags before end of august. You'll get them.

That being said, I think premium time is only activated when you log to the game (and you have the "redeem" popup), so you should be able to unlock your loot bags on the site and keep your premium as long as you don't login, even if your login is after the end of the redeem window.

Yes, I believe once you click the button on the webpage, it triggers a command that queues up your account those items and you won't miss out. But the items aren't delivered fully until you log into the game client, or it refreshes (match -> mechlab for example). At least, that's been my experience with some past rewards. I've definitely seen this with active premium time rewards.

Just checking. Once you've completed an event phase aka getting 100%, nothing you accomplish in game will count towards the event until the next phase starts?

You have to do the event requirements during the event times. So, matches played during even 1 time wont count for event 2-4, unless those phases are active as well.

If two phases are active at the same time, anything you do counts for both. If you have 100% of a phase done, you will not receive any extra rewards from that phase.

That was what I figured.
Still, kind of regret grinding out phase one so fast now....

Also that means it is impossible to get a hero mech until phase three, purely from grinding the phases...

Yes. Between all the events in the past I've ended up looking at the optimal strategy for each. In this case, grind out 1/4th of Phase 1, then grind out half of Phase 3, then grind out Phase 4. That should be the minimum about of effort needed to get all four phases full

Usually, there's two phases and you'd do 1/4 - 1/2 of the first one to get them to finish at a similar time during the second phase. This event has 4 phases. Horseman's strategy is sound because your match score number is lower than damage so will take more matches to complete. It'll vary by player but my average match score is probably about 2/3 my damage. Between 3/4 and 1/2. Phase 3 and 4 are the same as 1 and 2, but half the number.

To my understanding, centering uses your torso speed.

I'm not sure the question or answers were specific enough. There's a key to center the torso to the legs (default C) and a key to center the legs to the torso (default F). The torso always turns at the torso turn rate and the legs always turn at the legs turn rate.

Assuming your torso turn speed is higher than your mech turn speed (as it is on my Timby)

Hold your F key down and move your mouse left and right, your torso gets ahead of the legs.
Hold your C key down and turn your legs left and right and the torso will turn at the same speed as the legs.

And logically it wouldn't make much sense if your could turn your legs faster by spinning your torso and pressing the F key than you could by turning them normally.

Then you have the Torso Speed and Anchor Turn skills to adjust either of those stats independently.
