I am actually REALLY happy to see they are focusing on the minim specs and making it well playable on lower end machines. While mine can handle a bit higher, I really would like to see as many people in the game as possible. I have several friends who do not have the best computers and I would like to see them join too!

Question about the minimum spec......

So if a core 2 duo is the min spec and you say its just barely playable, that would mean you would expect my P4 ExtremeEdition to not be able to play the game very well or at all ? (core 2 duo's were the next chips after mine I think)

Is MWO that much more intensive on the cpu than crysis 2 ?

I can play that at around 40fps with most options on high.


I realise the min spec machine you posted is much lower spec than mine bar the cpu (you dont say the type of ram so I expect the slowest sticks you could use were used) so would like to know........

How did they perform with better gpus and ram ?

They support XP at Service Pack 3.

Do yourself a favor, upgrade. Yeah you're OS may "work fine" right now, but in the near future it will be EOL and future games will not support it.

I don't understand your mentality at all. What do you expect? Have them support Windows 98 to? Christ XP is almost an 11 year old OS.
