Yeah, indeed but we will see how it turns out on october 15th! Maybe we also will see some hotfixes after that :( !

Oh I'm sure we will. I think I've just accepted that as par for the course.

One Question regarding.:

Players who have purchased Overlord or Guardian packages will be able to select and redeem between 2 and 4 cockpit hanging items from the 6 available factions. You will be able to select any combination of hanging items.

Will you be able to select the hanging cockpit items later once LP have been implemented and it becomes clearer which combination of them you want to choose? Please do so.

UI 2.0 and Direct X 11. I expected it at the end of Open Beta. Thank you for at least providing an update on it.

Well, I wish I could say I'm surprised that so much that was supposed to be already live and in play isn't even done the design stages yet (two years, and no design completion on how loyalist players are even supposed to play the game?). Perhaps concentrating less on shiny items to keep the short-term memory players happy would have been a good decision in making the progress of the game somewhat closer to what was put forth time and again.

Regardless, it is what it is. It would appear we are looking at six months to a year more before we have full factional game content. Assuming of course that this team doesn't just wake up on the wrong side of bed one morning and decide it isn't worth implementing because it would divide the playerbase into factions.

I see there was no mention of the Founders Atlas being given the same weapon customization pass that the regular atlas was given last patch. Any word on when this will occur or if it's being worked on? I'd hoped it was a quick fix but it's lack of inclusion isn't promising. <_<

This is indeed how i feel at the moment.
All the exciting stuff (Community Warfare / Inner sphere, Merc units+contracts ) is not even in development, which is pretty disappointing because those are the real game changers.

They are now focusing on gaining/retaining more players with UI.2.0 and achievements, and in the meantime they are creating and selling new mech packages to continue their funding. With the funding they are able to develop the CW, and after that is fininshed they will probably release the Clan packages (Q3 2014?) to continue their funding further.

This is a pretty solid strategy for a Company, I must say, but as a Battletech/Mechwarrior fan it takes too damn long :(

Nevertheless: let shoot some Mechs!

but good communication though! <_<

Ohh yes, this is better than the past. Thanks for the info!

I am wondering.. Assuming "deathmatch" refers to a free for all classic "kill or be killed" mode.. Shouldn't it be in a separated Solaris Arena mode? :(

Complaining about a camo pattern not being exclusive? I guess you guys have to ***** and moan about something. It's a FREE unlock being added to PP packages. People were buying these packages before they even added the loyalty updates. It's a bonus, plain and simple. PGI didn't have to add these little extras but they did. Get over it. I don't understand some of you people.

Anyway, I appreciate the update Bryan!

I really gope all this will come SOON and WORKABLE!

Sorry for not being happy, but "StarCitizen" looks really faster and better as for it age and money!
I hope MWO will be good enough BEFORE "StarCitizen" comes out.

Otherwise - many will shift :-).
Consider this as Nosterdamus opinion :-)))

Plans are really good - wish they work out!

Yeah they may until they realize they can't fly a space fighter sim especially if they keep the "arcadey" out of it. Great post PGI Loved what you layed out for us.

I know you think that PGI added those stretch goals out of the kindness of their hearts, but it is actually a marketing tool based on well established consumer psychology research. While we're all neck deep in the kool-aid, let's try to keep at least one toe in reality.

Of course it's a marketing tool. Do you also complain when "exclusive" pre-order bonuses for AAA games eventually release for sale as well?

1. I'm not complaining about anything.
2. There's a difference between eventually and immediately in the dictionary.

Anyway, I'm sure a PGI rep will drop by this thread today and clear up the issue.

The combination of deathmatch and private matches is something my merc corp has been jonesing for a long time now. That could be an insane amount of fun.

Im kinda new to the forums and the game too. Started playing in August of this year but have played about 1800 matches (i was surprised too).

Im not normally a "forum goer" so to speak and was only made aware of the months or year(s) of frustration with many members. That said, I still find this game very enjoyable, infact I spent 12000MC x 2, bought phoenix overlord and saber package after finding out and frequenting forums of negativity.

My point is, I know this game is moving in the right direction, it maybe a little too slow for most people, and yes I am aware of the promises not kept. I agree many areas of communication need to be improved.... SO IMPROVE ON IT DAMMIT. I hope the devs do an awesome job for years to come as this is game has the potential to be the most awesome online gaming experience I will have. :(

Keep it up Devs!
