Personally I've stood in front of a Centurion before in my highlander and fired all my weapons into him 3 times before he killed me because he took no damage I did and I took all the damage he dished out. At 90m 'knife fighting' range I cannot miss a target the size of a cent, but the game certainly thought I did. That was a month ago, and once in awhile they seem to slightly fix it and then it all goes bad again.

but i had those problems too, but with any kind of mech class.
Meanwhile i think only because you see a hit doesn't necesarilly means that you actually hit. Your avg. ping would be interesting...

NZ - have you tried combining LPL and LBX? It's been my most successful combo for hitting spiders on the run. I noticed that when running my spider I was getting legged by LBX and LPL, so I put both on one mech and it worked really well. Just a thought

gotcha - it wasnt targeted until the very last second so I wasn't sure what you wanted us to focus on

It didn't lose an arm, or a torso... It was as pristine as snow even after I shot it. So no, it's not damage transfer (which btw is also not the same as hit boxes). It was a mech that was undamaged when we faced each other and was undamaged afterwards, though I died just fine.
