ALL mechs have HSR issues. Good lord, we have only been saying this how long? Even PGI has been saying this for nearly a month. Anyone who thinks it's 'just' Spiders is deluded.

Personally I've stood in front of a Centurion before in my highlander and fired all my weapons into him 3 times before he killed me because he took no damage I did and I took all the damage he dished out. At 90m 'knife fighting' range I cannot miss a target the size of a cent, but the game certainly thought I did. That was a month ago, and once in awhile they seem to slightly fix it and then it all goes bad again.

still runnin' arround with 1 point back armor, huh? :D

but i had those problems too, but with any kind of mech class.

Meanwhile i think only because you see a hit doesn't necesarilly means that you actually hit. Your avg. ping would be interesting...

I noticed an AC20 registered a hit when it actually missed on your client too. Fun times, HSR issues do sometimes work both ways.

PGI knows and they're fixing what they can.

when did you discover that? I've once hit jenner in back with AC40 bomb, and BAM i got killed by him, that keeps being unfixed... hope will be soon...

I like how both the lights thread and nerf spiders thread are several pages, being constantly bounced to the top... but the cicada one is ignored B)

Yep, I barely play anymore - HSR is completely broken for anyone above 200ms latency. I have to aim an average of 5-10m ahead to get a chance of hitting a spiders arm... and it's all mechs going above maybe 90-110kph.

I simply can not hit any lights, yet they can hit me easily even when going 150kph

NZ - have you tried combining LPL and LBX? It's been my most successful combo for hitting spiders on the run. I noticed that when running my spider I was getting legged by LBX and LPL, so I put both on one mech and it worked really well. Just a thought B)

2 gauss, and 2 mls, none of it counts. The MLs were even held on the CT the majority of the duration.

Meaning 40 damage the Jenner just shrugged off.

Worst ... Example ... Evar.

Centurions are bugged .. 75% damage reduction for upper torso when arms are blown off ... it's a hit box bug with the stump. It's not an HSR bug. This is exactly the sort of "jump to conclusion" stuff that leads to "low information players".

Well, the Cicada isn't a light and mediums are underrepresented already as is? :rolleyes:

It didn't lose an arm, or a torso... It was as pristine as snow even after I shot it. So no, it's not damage transfer (which btw is also not the same as hit boxes). It was a mech that was undamaged when we faced each other and was undamaged afterwards, though I died just fine.

Oh for sure, it's demonstrating the actual distribution of mechs pretty well. I just wish PGI would be a little more open about the fact that there are hit registration issues in general (I know they have a note about it) by making it more visible to the community.

Agree... without pressing "R" we cannot see what damage he is or not taking ....terrible example
