They aren't showing up in my garage. I closed out and started the game multiple times. It's currently 12:30am in my area.

You are around twelve hours or so early, but the mech bay elves are quickly assembling all our new toys.

I don't understand. It's October 15th. It directly says on the Project Phoenix page, that the mechs will be delivered on October 15th.

You do know that in Canada (Where the developers are situated) it has only been October 15th for about 1-2 Hours dont you? It is in the middle of the night for them right now.

The Patches are always released around 20:00 Central Europen time. At this time, the Game and Login servers will be going down and will not be available fro a while. Once they are active again, then you can patch your client and will also get all the Project Phoenix mechs and whatever else is changed/added with the patch.

Actually, where the devs are it just hit 11pm on the 14th. 11 hours until the patching starts and probably 12.5 before people get to play with their new toys. Canada has 6 timezones. It's big.

Let's see.....Monday Oct 14th, 2013, Know to us here in Canada (Home of PGI and MWO) as Thanksgiving, a National Holiday and a day off for pretty much everyone, including those fine folks at PGI.

Now, tomorrow, logey from too much turkey, stuffing and Cranberry sauce, they will stumble into the office, hit the big ol' PATCH SWITCH ™, and then everyhting will mke their way to your mech bay.

PS. at the time of my writing this, here in Vancouver where I live and PGI calls home....it is 11:14 Pm on MONDAY OCTOBER 14th.

Exactly. The Mech techs are Canadian are sloshed (no offense meant) and sleeping it off. America would be doing the same if FDR hadn't moved the date.

Either that, or the guys in the asia/pacific. Here on the Australian eastern seaboard i'm 15 hrs advanced over server time. The patch will actually happen about 3 am on the 16th for me

Edit: OP, what's your timezone?

Delivered in MWO's case 99% of the time means patched-in, what with the 15th ironically (but not really) being a patch day. Thus you wait until content is patched in at the regular time.

Delivery on day X doesn't mean that at 00.01 delivery is made. Delivery on day X means that delivery will happen on that day and until the day isn't over, there's no valid ground for complaining :P However as you've been told, patching usually happens at a fixed hour, every patch day. Of course they go by PGI clock (in Canada). If you live on a really different timezone, your mileage may vary :P

I've always thought their patching time was a bit ridiculous. When it's only a 30 min patch, it's not such a big deal, but when it's a big patch, or when there are unforeseen problems, Euro players miss an entire evening of play. If they have premium time activated, they should get a free day whenever MWO patching takes longer than 30 mins.

Presumably it is done when it is done so that if something goes terribly wrong like the servers not working at all or if something demands an immediate hotfix like LRMageddon (the third one, where missiles were hitting cockpits 24/7) they can fix it, instead of having Jimbo the Server Guy do it at midnight or six pm their time when it would be convenient for you, as that would mean they'd be unable to fix anything, what with them all being away from work during those hours. If I had to guess, I would bet it's not an insidious plot to rob you of your premium time, even if it is inconvenient.

Do you understand where Moscow is, in the big scheme of time zones? Depending on the time of year, I'm either 11 or 12 hours ahead of PGI. I'm speaking more on behalf of the huge quantity of Europeans who are 2-3 hours behind me.

They could show up early and do it at like 7 or 8am pacific time, rather than 10am. That would actually give them more time to fix any catastrophic issues. Considering that most international gaming companies can manage to wake up a bit early and do that, I don't think it's such a big thing to ask....but thanks for the condescencion.

Do you understand business? Do you understand why it's bad customer service to drop your servers during the prime playing hours of a big portion of your user base? Do you even think before you post?
