The spider for example. The head section might tilt forward like a truck cabin.
It's also possible that some of the cockpits should have different arrangements with the chairs being more,or less, upright than the existing ones.
Great work.

This could be possible since the fluff for the Spider indicated that it does not have an ejection system.

You sure? I thought that whole head section was one giant ejection system. Pretty sure all mechs had ejection systems. It was only ones with weird quirky ones that got that highlighted. Like the catapult. With it's sideways ejection system.

If you see them side by side (leaked images.. (?)) the cockpit for the ML is tiny, a fraction of the phract.. ..so either the phract CP is too big or the ML is way too small - probably more smaller than the commando lol..
For the sake of my OCD...

The Lynx is hilariously tiny, I can't imagine anyone being able to see out the cockpit effectively, it would make a great proto-mech though:
The pilot does fit though, the cockpit hatch is straight above the seat too:
I've been enjoying my Ice Ferret but the in-game cockpit really REALLY bothers me, it takes me out of the game, in the game if you look down at your feet you'll see that you're sitting above the "lip" of the Ferrets CT armor, like in this image marked in red:
It makes no sense unless you are a tiny little person! The lip part should be raised to be around waist level to the pilot like this:
I really like the little tank hatch it has on the top though:
This was just a quick update, so that's all for now:

it could have been a tiny bit bigger..
Would have been cool if they took cockpit scale to mind when making the concept. If they did the cockpit would be bigger giving the mech a bigger "face" but enough room to acutlally fit a mech
Would they still be a tight fit if you used 5'10 pilots instead of 6'2 ones

Well I don't really blame FD, guy's an artist not a 3D modeler or game developer. I mean in lore the neurohelm gives them a visual feed of the outside anyway so it's not like the cockpit viewport actually needs to be perfectly usable, but obviously it isn't like that in-game so thus we get the huge oversized cockpits on tiny mechs.

i dont really blame him. Even if he did scale correctly the mwo modeling team wouldn't be able to get the scale down right anyway. Given the track record

Awesome as always but would you mind explaining how you were able to get the Wave II models out of the game and into your render program with the UVs / Materials intact? We've been having a rough time of it over in the other thread.
Thank you, and keep up the good work.

I don't know how to use scripts or anything, I extract them and assemble them manually.

Now that I've gotten a lot more proficient at 3D work I think I'm going to go ahead and redo every single piece I've done since my early pieces are so awful looking now haha. So expect all that to be updated.
In the mean time here is some stuff I made for my corp:

And fun fact, the Panther has a camel pack on a rack in the cockpit (on the right):
Thats all for now.
