The 4 streak 3 JJ 4 streak Shadow can follow lights better than the Kintaro! Also, the shadow can carry the same weps as the brawling Hunchie with jj.

You're right, I was going for a one chassis per category approach. I like my SHD but damn, that thing is HUGE. If it were the size of the HBK, then we'd be talking.

Blackjacks are the best. Not sure why they are being downed on to such a level in the poll rankings... But suit yourselves, I will keep rockin' them.

Nothing wrong with the Blackjack. Just that there is so much right with the Shadowhawk.

I like the S-hawk for supporting and brawling, even though I've been working on my T-bolts mostly. Oh, and Bishop, the 5SS is the only one that feels 'right' to me. 2xERLarge + 5xM-laser+300std+20dhs, or 19dhs if you don't shave so much armor.

I'm a huge fan of the blackjack for sniping and striking, but I fear that the S-hawk largely outdoes it in the one category it was truly unique, which is jump brawling with an AC20/LB10X. The super high-mounted guns on the blackjacks makes them really good for sniping or fire support from cover.

I'm also a huge fan of Cicada's, despite their many noted limitations. I've mastered all five of them, even the horrible ballistic one, sheerly out of spite and to be a try-hard. They're excellent flankers and supporters, but not terribly effective light killers because they get out-maneuvered so badly by smaller lights, while being notably larger and easier to CT/Leg kill. The Cicada's are also underrated ppc or gauss snipers, because they can still be 116+ kph packing a Gauss or double ppc, or even triple Large lasers. You can even do the famous AC20 ECM Cicada, although it's a marginal build best used with teammates who can help you.

Great thread though, enjoyed reading the discussions and opinions.

Shadowhawk is the best medium period. Running er ppc, ac20, std 250 right now and kicking all kinds of butt. And it zombies very well, One game I was in I was missing both arms, a shoulder, and a leg. And still survived.

It's size is irrelavant with all the *** kicking you will be doing in it. If you're a decent pilot that is. And you're min/maxing, and not just running a whateva whateva build.

Maybe not the best light hunter, but together with adv. sensor range and adv. target decay a pain for lights. Tag, bap, sensor range and ppc will break all ecm lights like peanuts. I was really succesfull with it, but I sold it ... Maybe the Shadowhawk will work in the same way or even better ...
