This needs to happen. This must happen. If this doesn't happen, then animal heads will begin appearing in beds. Think of all the money those unfortunate few would have to spend on cleaning their sheets (needs some mega detergent, voice of experience here!) You wouldn't want to be the catalyst for all that, would you?

PGI! please people want the carb! They want it soon! can we see some new IS mech announcements and official art work? I mean I loved the days personally where we had mech art for the future and each mech announcement came from a pool we could argue about!

Show us your plans, and we'll be excited, let us know the clab is coming and we'll stop pinching each other in excitement...I promise!

I greatly back up the idea once PGI has a moment to make new mechs that they should introduce the Crabs. I have some bias as I am in the birth time of Cancer but none the less I support your efforts and hopefully it gets implemented one day.

I am not currently in the buying mood for things, but if it is more reasonably priced maybe.

The King Crab may seem "overpowered" compared to some current chassis in the current meta... but the Daishi is coming in four months, and this is an Inner sphere mech I feel can make even a Daishi pilot think twice.

Plus a lot of people will be happy to buy Clan mechs and buy a King Crab.

Oh dear god, my buddies and I were talking about this today and the strong potential for the Clans to have AC60 Dire Wolf's and Warhawk's.

Anyway, I was personally hoping that the "new" mech coming out was either an Urbanmech, or that they would have played a trick with the teaser info and made it the Panther or... A CRAB! But alas, no. We got a Firestarter. (Cool mech still, but I want me some crabs!)

There is hope for the King Cab! They have announced that a new Assault is being introduced in March! However, they didn't say what mech nor what tonnage it is... (It's probably best to presume that the missing 95 ton slot will get filled in, but who knows...)

I'm sorry. Crab and King Crab are Parifrancy mech's. SOOO out of date that every major and minor power in the Inner sphere stopped using them YEARS ago (according to Lore) Plus as cool as another all energy mech would be. there just so Ugly that they'd make an anorexic start eating again.

I'd like to see something a bit more... Current time line like Mauler. (Case in point the Awesome shouldn't even be available yet because it was made AFTER wave one of the clan invasion.)

Umm, I'm slightly confused as to where you are coming up with this lore? Either I've been very mistaken (which I wont really doubt with BT lore sometimes), but the Crab was not "outdated" or "not used because it was old". It ended up not being used for a long time because there wasn't very many of them left to use. They started (the Crab) to be reproduced around 3050ish with the technology granted by the Helm Memory Core. Comstar gave the Combine a bunch of Crabs during one (3rd succession I believe) war to help them out, but they downgraded a lot of the tech when they did give it away.

The King Crab was used to fight the clans and was described as a "Clan Buster" design, as it seems to preform well against the Clans.

(PS: I love how the Crab's (and the King Crab) look, and would love to see them placed into the game under Alex's conception of them. He drew some sketches that have roamed around the forums, and I love how they look.)

If you want to do with "antiquated" designs, then the Atlas should be old and not desired, as it was made by the SLDF, just like the Crab was...
