everyone has seen them all over the place sense the tuesday before last.
if something isnt done PGI is going to over correct the problem like always and we will be left with useless LRMs again.
please, stop the flooding before you ruin LRM for everyone, or. nerf LRM flooding

The steady flow of LRM 5/10/15 is like a giant tracking beacon. Cover is OP.
Edit; to be politically correct.

AMS, anyone?

But screenshake... there's something funky going on with that where it does some CRAZY blur amount. It's not even like... natural looking. The whole screenshake thing needs to be looked at and polished.
---- -buuuut i guess that won't be for a while since the rendering team is working on DX11 and then after DX11 is decals or something like that. So Q4 2014 we will see some kind of reasonable looking screenshake that isn't horrible.

I disagree.
Obvious elephant in the room: ECM.
Oh, but didn't PGI fix ECM? Nope, they didn't. They just made a few changes that made LRMs less relevant and ECM not as big of an issue. But after several nerfs to direct fire weapons, people are bringing out their LRMs again and people are starting to remember why ECM was such a big issue.
If you find yourself and your teammates being destroyed by LRMs, have a quick look around and see how many ECM mechs are nearby. The Raven 3L on your team has been replaced by a JR7-F, the Cicada has been replaced by a Blackjack or Shadowhawk and the Atlas DDC is probably replaced by a Highlander or Battlemaster. Your ECM Spider is probably on the other side of the map, instead of giving ECM cover to your team.
Teams that still rock the ECM are doing fine. Teams that are dominated by Phoenix package builds are being pummeled by LRMs. How many people are actually using the dual AMS builds these days? Atlas K? Nope. Stalker 5S? Nope. Locust 5M with dual AMS? Nope. Jester? Maybe 25% of the Jesters I've seen have dual AMS.
Give me two teams that both have LRM boats, while only one team has decent ECM cover. 9 times out of 10, the team with ECM wins.

(Point being: there are counters to LRMs. Like, y'know. Cover.)

Not My D-DC Ailistair! It is one of only 3 Mechs I use. It is almost always on the field when I am. I had fun stalking and killing 2 LRM boats in a match last night!
However it is good to see more Fire Support on the fields again.

Don't recall if it was the same guy, but there was definitely the same post. And it was the only other time I've ever seen the phrase "LRM Flooders."

There are some obvious steps you can take to mitigate LRMs, and I presume you haven't been diligent in defending yourself from LRMs. Do you bring an AMS? An ECM? I don't think anyone has a right to complain about LRMs (either in flood fire or mass fire) unless they are actually bringing the obvious, in-game LRM counter measure equipment

It is a Thing. And a mean one. I look forward to the challenge of beating it. Its just as powerful as a 6 PPC Stalker is. SO I know it can be done.

The 6 PPC Stalker isn't all that intimidating, though, because it has to make hefty sacrifices to fit all of those cannons. The mech picture above is a lot better because it's faster (like 72 kph after speed tweek), more armored (almost as much as an Atlas, also skinnier body frame so harder to hit), longer ranged, and with better heat management. It'll still run ultra hot under MWO's heat paradigm, but it might actually be sorta manageable. I look forward to testing out a Daishi or whatever in-game rigged with the same equipment.
