I wish mechs under a certain speed couldn't drop without AMS. OR a large flashing box call you an ***** every time you attempt to drop without one.

I also support the idea that we have an option to turn screen shake off for those of us with delicate stomachs.

When my screen shakes, its not just the wobble, i got a hd4870. The 3d smokepuffs make my fps tank. All that smoke and 10 fps thats when it gets exciting :) There is a moment when its all flashing and you cant see jack and oh give up your dead anyway cause shake is op and already formulating your forum whine. no you arnt, fight thru it ;) its been the same in so many games. Its just the devs way of introducing a skill cap. You gonna take that from them?

This is why my lurmwerfer mech has 5ml backup, but a good light pilot is always going to mash you up if you stray too far from the team.

On the flipside though I used to carry a single lrm15 on my streakcat and pretend to be a helpless missile boat. It's amazing how many scouts would fall for it without checking more carefully.

Dear PGI,

My Mommy says you have to take screen shake out of the game because it makes my tumtum all woozy and gives me nightmares about back in high school when the girls field hockey team used to give me swirlies.

5 Mediums is nice but not as good as 2 AC5, LL, 2 SRM6 an 2 Mediums. :o I used to run an Archer on my Atlas (2x LRM20 & 4 Mediums)

at the very least there should be a nodule that buffs the range/effectiveness of AMS

If there was a tutorial that explained things like dodging LRMs to people who never played MechWarrior before, there wouldn't be a thread.

Yes, yes there would. Even though a lack of extensive tutorials for this game is appalling, every time a player pops on here there are several who try to give them advice. They usually start raging at that point and attacking anyone that doesn't explicitly agree with their opinion.

Then they state some factual mathematical equation and try to convince everyone that their opinion is now fact because their opinion is based on fact. Then it usually devolves in to a lot of QQ until it's locked or jettisoned.

I love that banner though

there should be a module to buff AMS in the LRM dominated meta
