This is laughable the 16.5 million and 80K exp in 55 matches I have made in 2 evenings in 6 hours play time according to stats page just running pure LRM builds says LRM's are more than viable.

I'm confused... you're making an average of 327,273 C-bills and 1,455 MXP per match? That seems difficult to believe, even with premium time active plus a hero 'Mech. Also if you're playing 55 matches in 6 hours, that's just over 6.5 minutes per match... try as I might, the matches where I put out big damage numbers with LRMs aren't very short.

I looked at what the achievement said for the 25 million achievement I am 16.5 million into it. I looked at the mech stats for the 5m since the reset, granted I had matches in other things for a bit mostly my firebrand I think 19 matchs but the last two nights all stalker all night. And 80K exp and no I average in that 210-220K range per match with that Stalker. Bottom line LRMs are more than viable I am sitting on 327 Million Cbills at the moment and I have made them faster the last 2 nights since Mau5strap asked me to just spam missles with him than I have for a while.

** Looked at it and played 30 matches in my Firebrand was 19 wins, and a total of just over 4 hours in all other mechs than the Stalker so total of 10 hours. Was 37 wins 18 losses in Stalker, and TOTAL average was 72.5% wins not for just my missle boat...funny though I NEVER ran missles before almost ran my Firebrand exclusively unless for a league drop they wanted me in something else.

Somehow I suspected the same, considering for how long that thing is available as a trail mech now :)

Eh, back to topic, my unit yesterday had the first real training day (12vs12) with the new changes. We ran with 2-3 LRM boats and 2 NARC scouts. It went okay..

But then me meet the SRJ, 0 LRMs 3 combat Jenners + 1 Firestarter (more or less business as usual for them :() and only 3 Assaults, all in all just a fast setup and actually less "meta" builds (misery/hunchy for ex.).

Yes they won and yes they are a level above us (though we have beaten them before a couple of times...) (FYI they came out with 4 survivors with us not having the best of days.)

But, this proofed to me that even top meta units in a fixed 12 vs 12 where coordination is at its finest, won't just switch to LRMs.

However, considering the tournament I switched from my Jenner to my Jager for LRMisch reasons... looks like even Ed got sick of them ;).

This has been said many times already, but if you die to LRM fire, you did something wrong. It happens to the best of us sometimes, as everyone gets outplayed occasionally, but dying to LRMs is completely your own fault, even now.

This change was a good one and has made it worthwhile to equip AMS, TAG and NARC, finally. I still see tons of direct fire loadouts in every single match, and it has actually made lighter mechs much more role-effective, since they have a reason to scout and spot again, instead of just being brawler-wannabes.

So standing there trying to shoot down LRMs works? It's easier just to dodge them. I personally won't look up into the sky trying to shoot them down. I'd rather just dodge them trying to get out of LOS of the snipers as well.

did 1400 damage in champion stalker, was really easy too (i bought one with mech cash)


LRM is out of controll still, should got like 130 meter per second max

What amuses me is that LRM's are only in a good spot because people are actually spotting for the 2 or 3 LRM boats on their team now. Without team play LRM's suck just as bad as they did two weeks ago. When you force LRM boats into direct fire competition they lose every time.

Two week ago there weren't enough LRM's on a team to make spotting worth a light's time. Now there's enough people trying them teams are actually trying to play with a little team work, and shocking the weapon system that has direct synergy with teamwork (unlike every other weapon system that benefits very little in a direct fashion) is looking pretty strong.

Teamwork is OP, nerf Teamwork!

Puckey. You can't charge and you can't run away from them. Your choices are to wait until the game is practically over to engage. Or wait until the puggers on the other side do something stupid. Otherwise, the game is a snoozefest with ECM and LRMs and the occasional ineffective sniper.

Game is boring.

You can't charge through the open - very true - but the rest of your comment is rubbish. If you have trouble with LRMs, find cover and wait for the missiles to stop being wasted on you. If you are dying to LRMs, it is your own fault.

If you find it boring, you may want to try something different. I have fun with just about every type of mech and weapon system.

You can't move within sight-period.
A few days ago I was in my cent. I was manouvering to get a shot on an atlas I believe on caustic. I was exposed for around 4-5 secs only whilst moving, partially obstructed to the lrm boats as well. In that time I was locked and got hit by one allmighty giga salvo. I could not run, torso twist or ams enough of them down. The missiles went OVER the cover I was using. My entire mech, bar my left arm was orange-with NO ARMOUR from one salvo from those mechs.

One mech using lrms is fine. When it's HALF the enemy team-it's not!

Last night this was all I saw. One allmighty black cloud of lrms incoming every match. I'm not calling for a nerf to lrms, but I do call for some means to stop the boating of them. Currently, I use 4 mechs only:
Commando 2D
Cicada 3M
Raven 3L
Spider 5D

Guess what they all have in common? ECM.


Enough is enough now.
