Hey All,

I noticed mention of MWA in this thread. I'm Prophet, one of the two founders of MWA (along with Drow). Awesome to see some of the guys I used to play against are still around!

We are looking at putting something together for MWO. As you may note MWO doesn't currently support custom match finding such as that available in previous MechWarrior games.

The Zone was my first taste of online gaming.

EMC clan took me in as a Newbie and showed me how to play. I see the MW Online development team is looking for the community to help the newbies once again. Great call!!!!!

I just started to play this game now. So crazy! So much like mech3 in how the firing works, love it. Of course, this is also why everyone else kinda gets crosseyed at the shooting.

I have seen some funny stuff in this thread, so to reply 1 year later.

Yea, I am the same Buzz that did all that stuff in mech3 lol. hilarity, I am the same buzz that sucked at mech4 (college connection was terrible, good for MW3, bad for MW4), and was good at MWLL.
Fun seeing old school names mentioned though on this zombie thread that won't die.

Someone actually found an old photo I took like years and years ago of my trophy on my bookshelf. Good times, brought a tear to my eye.

All I can say to people who keep trying to argue who is "good" or "bad" at these games based on the past. Apples to Oranges. Should be like asking whether someone is good at Checkers would make them a good Stratego player.

I am having fun, hope you are having fun, good to see people running around.

I would love to know if Tsunami, Sunscat, IronButcher, Maverick from Mech3 days play this version, and if so lets get online and fight some together

you, Alfonze, Capt Sternn were all Mech pilot idols to me back in the day, until I got good at MW3

I loved mech3, I love mecha in general, I am glad MWO is out. I stopped playing MWLL (mechwarrior living legends) because of real life, but now i put some free time in for this game and it is worth it right now I hope it gets clan play (for real) and ladders and such.
