If you tell support, there's a good chance they'll give you a credit for the price difference. They're pretty reasonable I hear.

They once spoke about implementing Steam-fashion instant sales with UI 2.0, so that might be possible. All in all, Hero mechs sales are always more than welcome. Right now I'm puzzled as what to take, Protector or Dragon Slayer, since they are similar hardpoint-wise and I don't have experience around Orions and Victors. What do you guys say?

It might sweeten the deal if heros came fully unlocked. The thought of grinding 3 chassis just so i can have a single hero puts me off. somebody already averse to MC mechs. You migth have had me on impulse buy if the GB was unlocked

I like them both but I buy Protector since Dragon Slayer can not have AC/20 and I rly love my Victors with AC/20 .

Thanks for advice, guys, I didn't even think of asking for a refund. Whether I get it or not you better believe that sexy beast of a 'Mech is getting some new warpaint.

I'd go for DS any day. Despite being heavier it's way more mobile than Orion, mostly due to availability of JJs. Then again, I'm mostly piloting Victors anyway, so I might be a bit biased.

I think more people would buy the Hero mech If you give discount when it first comes out.

Nah, I think some people will buy them full price when they're new, and some people (like me) wait for them to become reasonably priced later on.
