The polls are detecting a 14 point shift in you direction.
Heck I'd even vote for ya.

Though, if nominated, I'd probably run on the "Evil Premade" ticket.

I will very infrequently pop in for a game or two to see how things are going but quickly leave as my heart is no longer in it and content does not change much at all.
I really hope that the game will improve but I do not think the future bodes well for the game and would not be shocked if a closing down annoucement gets published or something better - the game gets bought out by another publisher (please not EA) who injects new money and game content into it.
Cheers!
Eboli.

Well, in reality Premades are NOT evil. But this is the interwebz where facts and opinions are interchangeable, so while the FACT is that premades are not evil, it is the opinion of some that they are.
It is THAT demographic I'll be pandering to.
That is, IF I get the nomination.

This is further exacerbated by current weapon balance issues (and the fact that SRMs are useless due to poor hit detection and LRMs are extremely situational, making mechs with missile hardpoints a liability).
We've been playing the same two game modes for a long time. They're ok, but they always play out the same ways in PUGs, making them tactically uninteresting. We're also missing Information Warfare. We have a very rudimentary version, but it's extremely unsatisfying and binary. We have no "class" warfare or "role specialization" either - the pilot / skill tree is a joke. There's no choices to be made. (For a more interesting pilot tree, consider the one in Hawken - you have several different categories that can be improved to different levels, but you don't have enough 'skill points' to improve each category to the highest level).
Players have been pining for things that also won't change anything. Tonnage limits don't mean medium mechs will be better - they just mean that more people will have to use them. DX11 is like putting lipstick on a horse: it doesn't make it a better cow. UI2.0 is a long overdue feature that makes the game easier to navigate, but doesn't actually add anything to gameplay.
I'm divided on the impact CW will have. Yes, it could make the game more interesting for players in Merc Corps (for faction players / lone wolves the game will be unchanged), but it won't change the fundamental play of the game.

If you were half as smart as your post count, then you would have read plenty of my concise, pointed and descriptive posts of what is and is not wrong. I will not bemuse or cosset you with any of them. Good day, sir.

As an amateur curator of K Town, I am privy to much rampant neckbeardery that many posters somehow forget they were part of and hopes doesn't see the light of day.
Not to mention, many bad threads become good there because they are free from the normal restrictions of polite General Discussionism, and conversation can be argued without the infection of mouth-breathers polluting the topic.
