So a number of high ELO players have created new accounts and found that they had no Hit Reg issues what so ever, however, as soon as they use their High Elo accounts, guess what? Hit Reg issues miraculously appear. Further to this once the new accounts started moving up in the ELO ladder Hit reg issues started to appear.

I ask any high ELO players to try the same and confirm if this is occurring for you as well.

If this is happening then this is a breach on behalf of the devs....

I have put a few dollars into this game and hope that the above is not the case...

Calling High Elo players to please test and confirm.

PGI Please don't delete this thread it only affirms our theory.

It's the Illuminati. They've hacked the servers. But, you're wrong about Elo, it actually only effects people who have had the polio vaccine. A new account just confuses them for a while.

It's the first step toward full mind control. If you wear a tinfoil hat, they won't be able to figure out your new account.

EDIT: You're*

The hitreg issues are due to server load, nothing else. PGI/IGP are cutting corners, that's the hitreg issue.

inb4 tinfoil hat dude and his cat.

Its called scabbing... You are getting matched against newbies who don't move or torso twist...

Ergo, your "hits reg" better..

Actually, if it is in fact true, deletion/removal of this thread is confirmation.

I think you have a fundamental misunderstanding of the meaning of the word "fact".

What is much more concerning to me is that the premade groups trolling the game at high elo (all Highlander or Victor squads) are now creating new accounts and trolling the new playerbase, which is very bad for the longevity of this game. I had one player the other day (ggc1ose) bragging about how he's stomping new players and farming them. He also stated that he will never stop doing so... ever. Another player (Khan Ignotus) had a very similar sentiment, and I could rattle off a long list of names in which players openly troll this game knowingly, with a middle-finger attitude to anyone who calls them out on it, including the OP of this thread.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. Most poptart groups are verbally abusive towards other players, and to think that they are bringing their trolling habits to the influx of new players is very worrying.

Uh. No.

An Atlas or a Battlemaster standing still within 150 meters of you taking hit after hit and your crosshairs staying yellow (when they should be turning red to indicate a hit and damage counting) has nothing to do with newbies.

The damage isn't counting 50%+ of the time for many of us with high ELO. No matter the enemy mech. No matter their size. No matter their velocity. You shoot them... the shots bounce off.

Imho that is more an issue of lower Mech Speed in the lower ELO Region bcs many Mechs there do not have boosts from Pilot Skills.
Maybe Pilot Skills bork HSR too... :(

Nawp, tin foil hats bork hit reg..

We all know that hit reg is baaad.. But I blame the inability of the game to compensate between extreme pings.. Example - my 260ms ping vs a 50ms ping in a light vs light battle...

But no... It must be ELO... Tinfoil hat time...

You do realize that the OP is an aussie with the same or even worse ping than me... We see each other every few nights in game or so it definitely aint eeeeloooow...

They're handicapping the terrible players too. I blew a Yen-Lo's Left arm off tonight when my AC/20 round hit the right torso. I have a ping of (on average) 270ms. Basically, I need to lead my targets by half a second, even with lasers.
