In all seriousness it could be your computer, your isp (temporary), the servers (hopefully temporary) or any other number of things.
do try restarting, try resetting your router/modem, and try doing a tracert to mwomercs.com
try testing your ping/packet loss to Toronto Ontario (Canada) on pingtest.net

Use the pingtest.net site to test if it is your local connection (ping a close by server) or a connection between your isp and another country (use Toronto Ontario Canada since I think that is where the game servers are).

This would happen with a lot of games/isp's, the majority of ISP's actually throttle certain types of network traffic, but usually allow for games to bypass the restrictions. My previous ISP used to be a pain in the *** every time blizzard updated or patched WoW, because it would change netcode.etc and the ISP wouldnt full recognize the traffic/routeing so my ping would rise just after patching until the ISP were informed that gamecode had been changed by the game provider.
High ping can also occur when your ISP has high net traffic and routes you through different servers/connections to your destination than normal to control service rates across their whole network.

If it doesn't work run a traceroute... Could be a wonky routing table somewhere down the pipeline...

On occasions we did have to speak to our old ISP about it, usually came down to 'server routing' issue. Most ISPs are pretty good at getting the bandwidth and routing sorted quickly because generally complaints and loss of customers are not good for buisness in the long run.

'but of course they would say that'
Do you have a laptop with the game on it? You could test it at your house, then at a friends place with a different ISP and see?

I think Asia Pac people are badly affected. I never had this problem too till the patch.
Maybe they didn't want AP people to play anymore.
