My only assault is a Battemaster bought after the reset now going over 4.5 (30 matches including grind). This value is not really realistic with too few matches and I think I am working myself up into the higher assault Elo; I do not run into the people I ran into frequently since playing assaults.
Before the stat reset it was difficult to stay near 2.5 but keeping an eye on my K/D did help me finding a balance between defense/offense and I am much better at reading the minimap and gauging my position wrt to the team. So, for me it was quite useful. The next is getting our lance to actually cooperate but that is really much more of a challenge. Especially since a few of them defected to Diablo III.

After the reset, as of now I am at 2.02 KDR with a pool of 180 games. I expect it to level off around 2.25.
For every kill I actually score, there is at least one other mech that I ripped wide open but someone else finished off. I am less interested in an inflated KDR, however, but want a more accurate KDR. It being inaccurate bothers me. Just need a larger sample size.

Griffin-3M hunter/stirker/raider with 2 different builds.
Cataphract-3D{C} Trial.
Highlander-733C{C} Trial.
This is after recorded 2K+ games but I did play some Awesome-8R before stats got recorded.

Sold every single mech i had with a negative KDR and then only ran Min / max builds or PPC / AC5 combo's for a while. What i really love is mediums with streaks and ML's because streaks overcome my crappy high PING induces ****** hit reg, but mediums are endangered at the moment as everyone is running assaults or heavies and streaks just dont hurt them quick enough.
Mostly resisted Lurming but when you have those nights that when all you do is die to Lurms i resort to counter battery Lurm fire myself now, . and i hate it but when you get consecutive drops without a Lurm boat led me to Lurm boating in those circumstances, ven for the suppression to enable the rest of the team to move instead of being pinned behind cover
The high PING makes the AC5,PPC uild run really hot and cold in terms of hit reg, every multi kill match is whittled down by a bunch of losses and kills i could/should have got that were lost in the high PING fairylnad

(I have a Spider with a higher KD but only with a few played matches)

I am somewhat okay with this.
You used to be able to alpha twice and then fire three medium lasers if you waited 5-6 seconds between shots , but not okay with the 0.5 delay including the firing time of the weapon making it 1.5 seconds. But eh , minor gripe I geuss.
Current "Best" (with more then 30 matches at least) is the Griffion at 3.64 followed by the 4P at 2.97 and worest at a awe inspiring 0.00 being the Thunder Chug, all of them.

These are my mechs with 100+ games. I have many in the 80-99 range with similar stats, but they still aren't in the 100 for me to consider (that and it would take me forever to have done the picture, I've only not mastered the Banshee and Stalker).

Witch this said, I am no master of the hunchback or any mech , I just tend to work off others (letting them get seen first)
I used to score up to nine hundard plus in about a third of the matchs and was hovering around 450 damage to 600 a match , back before ghost heat and after for a few months (probably do to people still getting new setups to deal with it) I think over the course of time I have lost skill on that mech (Getting more friendly fire grazing , tunnel vision ect, loss of ability to sneak about)
Just wondering what kind of mech or mechs do you lean toward? Any range, all range? Weapons or tactics?
