was on a drop and this Cmd was doing 171 kph. I can't remember if PGI raised the engine spec, what is it now.

The 2D cannot use it. The rest can, including the DK. The only difference is that the DK doesn't have the reverse speed buff that the non-ECM/2D variants have.

235XL is just fine though IMO.

I forgot about the speed increase. I just threw the 235xl from my bj-1 in my COM-3A put on some Suicidal Tendencies and pulled 300 damage with 2 medium pulses. 167 is pretty fun

Alto im crazy and like the locust there is actually a reason to bring the non hero/ecm commandos now.

hehe the Commando 1B is scary now it's so fast. It's good to see all the lights are quite viable these days in the right hands.

Umm actually I run a deathsnail and they do move at 75% speed backwards.

I'd still take jj over speed, a fast commando in a valley is just as stuck as a slow one.

depends if its evading fire, or running a straight line in a valley. Ive survived death valley many times.

I just got 2 commandos last night, had stock engine doing 97kph and it would run up most hills like a billy goat.

Odd, the patch notes claim otherwise. /shrug

Normal reverse speed is 2/3 (66%) of max speed. The buff is 3/4 (75%) of max speed.

I have seen Spiders, Commandos, Locusts moving at ~170kph.
Dont know if Jenners and Ravens can do the same...

PS: And PGI is insane allowing this!

Technically PGI could allow it, but it would kinda still make the buff to the overall speed less significant (do not want Jenners+Ravens running faster than the smaller lights).

If they remove the Speed Bonus and delink Agility from Engine Size it could maybe work until MASC arrives...

I love me some JJ, but don't underestimate the amount of inertia you have at 171. The #1 thing that blew me away about my TDK with the new engine was the just silly places it could go up walls on Canyon.
