Just because I'm down on PGI (because, they still need to show my genuine progress instead of promises), doesn't mean I haven't liked people for saying valid points.

You must be lucky, or I'm incredibly unlucky. Most of the time when I played (I actually have stopped as of late) I would get dumped into a game where half my team died before I ever saw them. That's how fast the opposing team tsunami's the one I am on.

So I guess it's entirely possible there was/has been an influx of new players. *shrug*

After reading through I had to go back to the front page to remember what the OP was; it immediately went from some dude asking a question to sarcasm, to Consolves vs. PCs, to global computer virus theories, to MWLL vs. MWO, with a smattering of random stuff related to the topic and not.

Funny as hell. We really need to start threads with the title "Pi$$ing constenst #x". Like a 12v12 with sarcasm and Urine as the only weapons.

Back to the OP; I had concerns for a while as well regarding player base and even asked if we could reinstate the player counter on the old Ask the dev's threads to no avail. It seems some days it takes forever to find a match, some I get the same faces in half a dozen drops, and some I never see the same name twice for hours.

Personally I am finished with speculating or really caring about what the population is. It is what it is and MWO will die or not. In the end somebody will be right and somebody will be wrong. Without real live numbers and facts there is no point to it all.

I plan to get what I can out of the game as long as I can, play when I feel like it and take a break when I need one and try not to think about the money I may or many not have wasted by buying Pheonix.

But please consider the Pi$$ing contest threads. I hate having to comb the forum for good laughs.

I used to play it for a while, and it has online player counter.

The fact is that counter hardly goes over 2000 and sometimes it is below 1000.

And they don't feel shame for it, nor the need to hide it.

Those are the real numbers, that is the truth, and it is always a good thing not hiding the thruth to your customers.

Truth they have never spoken the real truth since we started this quest of a real fun game. This is just Call of the Mech. No endgame just being placed in battles that, ONE: you when within 5 minutes TWO: you are rolled in 5 minutes Three you get discontected. Four matchmaker or A MECH GOD places all contestants in a real balanced match (skirmish) that ends because time has run out or the last two slug it out to end 12 to 11 which can be AWESOME

you just listed every possible outcome to a match and complained that those are the outcomes? Uhm there's no other possible outcome to be had unless someone on the dev team breaks the wall into the 4th dimension and we get some new weird quantum or dark matter outcomes.

Ties right honestly I find it sad that we live in a world or country that now lying is a norm from our President to Corporations, to wall street and everybody just excepts it. Just does not add up at all. Seems this country has just laid down and gave up on truth, being respectful to others and doing what is said will happen, instead of this. Rip on me all you want, but imo im speaking the truth. This game is just another example. They are trying to do things because they are pressured to do it, if noone ever got upset we would not see anything change period
