So, its a good deal for us, as the MC price per mech will be higher, I'm sure. Also, its good for PGI as they can work on developing the things we want.

However, I do see that the initial cost is alot, but hey, guess what, you can upgrade your packs! So buy a smaller one fore now, and upgrade it when you get the money. Or you can do what I'm doing, and wait to see what these mechs will actually be before fully deciding.


Anyways, just my two cents. = D

If CW launches in January, I will have your manbabies.

On another note, I do intend on getting them, because I fear if the game fails we may never see another Mechwarrior based game again. It may be a rocky road but I still am hopeful that eventually things will be worked out by next year and we will have a game worthy of our devotion. For now I will support them and remain hopeful that it will get better.

The only major mistake I think they made was bringing the game out of Beta WAAAAAY too early, but I think that is more linked to the publishers than it is to PGI themselves, and I sometimes wonder if some of the bad ideas and delays are because IGP are pulling the reins in to many different directions and not letting PGI do what they need to do to deliver a finished project.

Same here, reveal before christmas should not be hard to figure out. Gold mechs are set aside so nobody should care and vote with their wallet on them, the rest of the packages are fine pricewise.

Surely it must occur to someone that given 1) MWO is making good money and 2) they already have an engine and lots of assets done that 3) they could make a retail single player game with *less* difficulty than a new project from scratch and it would bring in $$$$. I doubt we've seen the last of MW. We may be seeing the last of MWO though!

That depends on how much IGP is siphoning off from their income, after all they are the publishers and the one that usually ends up making the majority of the money whilst not really doing anything other than fronting some start up capital.

If you give a true custom camo designed by the buyer himself with the Khan Edition the price may be more acceptable.

I think your assuming that PGI would communicate to us in a meaningful way. Like telling the fanbase/player what the plans for Omnimechs/varients, what unique modules actually meant, etc. If they had really wanted to they would have told us BEFORE the launch of this sale. And listen.......hear that? That my friend is the sound of PGI not giving any [Redacted]. They won't even chime in before Monday to clear up issues. They would rather let the vitriol flow.

I said Phase 1, not full CW. = P But still, its there, it might not be total, and exactly what we want, but its there in some form none-the-less.

You know, I have obviously put some money into this game and it is not entirely impossible that I will buy the 240$ package at some point in time. PGI could start by slashing prices in half too to make this a quite a bit more probable.

But at this time, with features lacking behind for over a year, and no evidence that there will every be a real game? No thank you!
