Honestly PGI I know your a company and you need to make money but this is an outright ripoff, I thought to myself with the last reinforcments package if it had a mad Cat I would pay for that, but not at this price its ridicoulous, I love Mechwarrior, Have done since I was a kid, but this is too much.
You get Hardly any CBills per match so It takes ages to save for things to buy in game by playing not only that but Mad cat variants probably wont be for sale in the mech lab untill what? October?
Seriously I know this is just my opinoin and many others wont share this but it really feels to me like you are sticking it to the fans

Show me somewhere, anywhere where I've defended this package beyond mocking the absolute epic nerdrage associated with it. Personally, I don't care one way or another... but you all, the nerdrage is DELICIOUS.
I know that facts elude you when it's so much easier to resort to opinion and hyperbole Victor, just like when you make your horribly biased polls... anyone who even remotely disagrees with you is either a troll or a White Knight, but as per usual Corky, it's just your opinion and not TRULY facts

1. Pricing for this pack is absurd compared to the quality and deals offered in both the Founder and Phoenix packages. Both packs, while a bit pricy, definitely gave you your monies worth and quite a bit more in terms of value of items. This new grouping of packs is a slap in the face to your consumer (especially the hardcore Clanners having to wait on you to deliver their chosen faction,) with insane price gouging. Nevermind that it often appears as a cash grab, as whenever development sags or features are pushed back we get another kickstater pack to drum up sales.
2. Smoke and Mirrors - Much of the content of this pack relies on empty information and the promise of forthcoming information. With a tendency to outright change your design goals and change systems/add systems that drastically alter your promised content before delivery, many people are hesitant to buy into something that A) currently is handicapped by what we know of the game (Warhawk and Nova Prime are both screwed out of the gate by Ghost Heat for example) and

So, lot of talking and no real doing, with a great deal of mishandled communication and public relations on top of incredibly buggy/broken aspects of the game. Granted, things can change...but you have a track record of change being negative.
This pack just showcases and brings to front your glaring issues of the overall game and hurts your position even more by the insane price model. A game has to be worth it's content for people to want to spend money on it or have a good track record/loyalty...which you don't have. The loyalty is to the IP...not you.
DISCLAIMER: These views not held by everyone in the community nor will I say the majority as I wish to not put words in other members mouths. They will speak for themselves, however I feel you'll see common themes.
*EDIT* Clan Tech review, based on demonstration numbers (which I know are for example) still show a drastic balance issue with Clan tech. Clan tech will still be desired over Inner Sphere and cost will become irrelevant so it's a not a worthy argument.

LOL, not at all, y'all amuse the {Scrap} out of me. Go look at K Town some time. Besides, feedback threads kinda hang around, so that would be a futile effort on my part. Also, again, you confuse White Knight and Troll. L2Forum.

First, let's see what's coming out next patch and over the next few months before crying about these being announced 'before important things are added to the game!' I get it, you need to pay staff and these are still 6 months away anyway. I'm sure much will happen in MWO before then.
I personally think the clan designs are excellent, I am a designer myself and I totally appreciate the work. They look as they should imho.
As for the packages, (aside from the gold mechs which I'll ignore for now) they are at most $10 per mech plus mech bay and go down from that as you add premium time, bonus items etc. So they aren't quite as overpriced as many are making out here. There are games charging upwards of $50 for single units. People are dropping much more on Star Citizen ships for example that you can't fly yet and before there's even a playable game. Of course, no one has to pre-order these mechs anyway, it's an option for those who want to, so for those willing to drop the cash, great, PGI can pay some more bills.
On the other hand, $500 for a single mech with a gold skin? Are you insane? On the surface this seems like a joke and I'm curious to see what the dev's comments on it are. I will say this; if you can convince someone to spend $500 for one mech and you just have to throw a different paint job on it? Maybe that's brilliant! Brilliance is often mistaken for insanity. : )

Their has never been a Mechwarrior game that has ever had a real CW, or other things in the pipe line. Every Mechwarrior has been about destroying other mech either those piloted by AI or those by other players. Yet everyone is pissed that game is lacking. No one is forcing to buying any package or keep playing said game. Am I happy about certain things no, but am I going to act like a little spoiled brat about.
In core concept the game is sound now if the other things planned failed well then that's another story. Ok I have my marsh mellows and hotdogs ready flame away.

It'd be nice to have some more information on how the implementation is going to be done (given how OP clan tech was when it first showed up in lore).
re: Complaints about price point. I'll just point to the Star Citizen price points, and I know that there are quite a few MWO players who are also backers of that game (myself included). How many of you considered getting an Idris during the Anniversary/End of LTI sale?
(That said, yeah, I think $500 might be a tad high for a single Chassis)
I not only bought a Constellation but bought one for my friend as well even though he had already backed the game. I basically spent $500 on Star Citizen already, and it's not even playable yet. That's the confidence that people have in the developers.
MWO on the other hand is a very different thing. The developers were going on about how cool CW would be more than a year ago. The game is "released" now, and not only is the core game mode missing but the gameplay itself is incomplete. Look at Planetside 2. I haven't played it in forever, but even though it wasn't perfect on release it was basically a complete game. PGI is a joke and if I was in the video game industry I would blacklist every single employee at PGI. It isn't even IGP that's a problem, because MWT seems to be coming along and still shows some promise.
