The Unseen.... short of trying to untangle the mess that the legal battle for those is I wasn't sure how to give them a fair showing...
Probably just list 'em in their own category like the Clan mechs - and add a note to those 'reseen' we have in game....

That may be the best way to go about it - but man, you've gotta admit, some of those Unseen are definitely favourites of people.

You can expect at least a writeup for the Crabs and Unseen if not a tidy-up for the OP though when it happens....

Also: some of the 'other' invasion era Omnis like the Fire Moth/Dasher and Mad Dog/Vulture.

Edit: by a bit, I mean this evening at best: maybe tomorrow, if not those two.... all prediction abilities collapse into a singularity of Doom! caused by the Huge Manatee..... because life is weird.

I always get a kick how far even the TT fluff is removed from reality.

My favorite thing is "A rear medium laser discourages rear attacks."

Remember: No matter how easy 'mechs can flip arms, pilots are always surprised...

Question: should I link to Sarna or other websites more frequently?
IE a link to each mech's Sarna page or the like?

I would think that would make much of this redundant, but I know quite a few people who would read this, then take the link to Sarna to read more about their favorites.
Is that sort of behavior common or are the people I know as weird as I am?

Thanks for the credit Shar, even though it isn't fully needed. It's up to you on the links, I guess it's fine to put them in near each mech. You can also just put the web link on the front near the credits.

It's always good for those who don't know that much on the background of this game to look at the background. Otherwise, we're going to have newbies who go into the game, get a Highlander, but when you ask them what faction that mech is in, they'd respond, "I've no idea." Then you ask them what role it is for, in the game and in TT and battletech. Then they'd respond, "I've no idea, but I know this mech is meta."

Yeah, but would it help to put one for each mech (I was thinking replace the mech's name with the link, like how I did the pilots) or would that clutter it up to much?

In all honesty this is the first time I have done something like this - so I really have no idea what I am doing :lol:7

If you replace each mech's name with the link for sarna (just hook the link with the name), then that should be fine. It's then possible to click on the mech's name to go to sarna's page.

I completely agree. PGI's biggest crime, seriously, is not exposing new players to the fiction at least. At least the history of some of these 'mechs, and oh I don't know, info about the factions you're fighting (or fighting for!) heh

I just copied the URL or whatever it is called up at the top of the screen, the cut it down to just the name of the mech....

Sweet the wolfhound! that has to come out before the Clan Invasion When I play Inner sphere, I would like to experience a mad cat with ER tech for the 1st time in a wolfhound as well and hunting with one. Cannot wait for the ultra ac- laser- streak model.

If you type a word, highlight it, and then inset a link, it inserts the link in the word.

You can also add it via BBC <url='website'>text you want seen</url> and do it that way instead (replace <> with [] though) and do it that way.

I am not aware of any cannon variants that carry ammunition.... as the mech was designed to be not ammo reliant.....

Add to that the fact that it has very nearly the same loadout as the Jenner, (moving from the arms to the torso for most hardpoints) and we may or may not see it in game....
