Nightmare1 is actually the one and only Mk-I version in a now decommissioned line of sentient AI.

During a experiment, the Mk-I was placed into a cybernetic brain, which was in turn placed into the cranial cavity of some random prisoner from the death row of some random planet.

Thanks to advanced plug and play technology, the transfer went off without a hitch.

Though after the transfer was completed was when problems began to arise. The Mk-I began to show an insatiable hunger for Twinkies. And being that the only Twinkie factory still in existence was located on Terra, it was obvious to the Mk-I that it needed to escape.

Through the use of some horridly archaic device known as a "Rube Goldberg Machine," the Mk-I somehow managed to both escape the laboratory in which it was held, and make it off planet, after -somehow- robbing the planetary bit coin farm.

Several months later, the Terran factory received an order for 200 metric tons of Twinkies.
