Nightmare1 was the event planner of a Canopian pleasure circus before his career switch to a MechWarrior for hire.

The reason for his career switch was that hearing AC20s go off right over your head was not generally considered to be a pleasurable experience, yet he disagreed.

StompingOnTanks was briefly a headlining act for the Ringling Bros. circus. Planning to showcase his animal taming skills at the show located at Detroit's The Palace of Auburn Hills, he boasted that he could make crabs jump through hoops of fire, walk across tight ropes, and roll over so he could scratch their bellies.

In reality, he brought a dozen King Crab battlemechs into the arena and it turns out the only command they followed was to stomp things and shoot dual AC20's.

Detroit Piston Bad Boy Bill Laimbeer was approving of the carnage saying it reminded him of their 1990 championship season, but with less bloodshed. The media speculates that StompingOnTanks is in fact Isaiah Thomas.

He is also part of a BattleMech Right's Group who advocates freedom and rights for all BattleMechs. His current issue is Centurions setting an impossible standard of beauty with their thigh gaps, ruining the confidence of other BattleMechs looking for a date and a positive self-image.

When StompingonTanks was a wee lad, he had a Close Encounter of the 2 and 1/3s kind. It left him scarred for life. Now, whenever he sees the LGMs on Toy Story, he curls up into a ball and screams incessantly until someone hands him his Buzz Lightyear action figure and his Atlas BattleTech gamepiece. When he holds the two of those in his hands, he feels invincible, and the LGMs no longer hold any terror for him.

His dream is to one day merge Buzz Lightyear and an Atlas together to create a flying Atlas with chest buttons that say things when you press them. To him, this is the ultimate BattleMech perfection and he will not rest until he has attained this goal and destroyed every last one of the evil LGMs and their freakish overlord, "The Claw!"
