You forgot to put ammo for AMS.
The GI only have a 10 tube missile rack, that LRM15 will come out in 10+5, which will easily get eaten up by AMS.

I think this mixed Build can do a decent Job.

If only it had 1 more missile slot...

Alternatively, they could make a lone LRM5 or LRM10 worth taking.

250 and 255 rating engine gives the same cooling.
Engine heat sink are 1 per 25 rating.
At 275 rating you get an engine slot for heat sink, at 300 rating you get 2 slot, and etc...

I stand corrected. Thanks for that.

semi-related question: how's the AC/20 do with the latest nerf? I haven't had the chance to play yet to see for myself.

as for the hero, I think I'd go with an AC/10, SRM6, 3xML build myself, with a standard engine. similar stopping power as a ghetto-4G with a bit more range and more viable after the hunch's blown off.

all in all, I think it's a decent mech, I'll be picking it up for sure by the end of the month. (I, too, love me dem hunchbros.)

Honestly, I think it's fine. Granted, I only played the Hunchback last night, but the projectile speed seemed workable, at least at the ranges I was operating at.

However, my opinion might change when I try my other AC/20 mechs.

The Grid Iron is a pretty cool little mech. The faster torso twist rate is definitely noticeable.

I started with a standard 4G build (AC/20, MGs, MLs) because it kicks like an angry mule. After getting the speed tweak, I switched to an AC/10, ASRM6, ML build and it has been working pretty well. I'm having fun with it.

I'm starting to wonder why you would use this mech over the Shadowhawk-5M. I mean, it turns further and has that extra energy hardpoint in the head, but that's about it.

Iron Sides

This build capitalizes on using the hunch as a decoy, leaving most of the firepower on the other side of it. Highly survivable. Can zombie almost as well as a Centurion. Use it to chew on the butts of distracted heavies/assaults, and they will crumble quite quickly. You should probably swap the LRM for an SRM, but I just don't like dropping without some kind of long range option. That's just personal preference. An ASRM6 with another heatsink would work quite well.

One thing I noticed about the Grid Iron is that even though it can torso twist like crazy, it can't turn well at all. Keep this in mind for close quarters.

I'd rather have the PPC on the other arm, because the hunch is everyone's target. Even then, I don't suggest long range weapons in the hunchie's arms, as they are so low. That weight would be better put towards a large pulse laser. A decent build for an escort. I wouldn't trust it in a pug match.

I'd drop one ton of SRM ammo for an Artemis upgrade.

Because variety is the spice of life?

Seriously, people need to get over this "one mech to rule them all" mentality.
