1) needs strip armor, max armor, strip mech buttons
2) needs to let us double click on an item to remove it
3) when setting up weapon groups in mechlab, it doesnt tell you where the weapons are located (i.e. left arm/right arm/etc...)
4) needs to show what engines, weapons, modules, etc... are equipped on each mech in the mech selection grid.

it's an endless cycle of trolls trolling white knights who troll the trolls!

Indeed. Who cares what a white knight thinks? They refuse to admit any wrong doing on pgi's part even though we have spent plenty of money in hopes it would get the game done, and we refuse to give them a free pass so it's a pointless struggle even talking to each other. Mine as well shut the forums down not like they listen to us anyways.

It is not a matter of pride, it just shows that we funded the development of the game that so many get to play for free.

{DavidHurricane likes this... x10}

You know I just realized that it'd be really awkward if PGI had to send one of its own threads to K-Town because of so much trolling (actual trolling not Roadbeer trolling).

EDIT: On second thought it'd be kinda ironic

This doesn't have to be an either/or situation.

The current mech customization is much more intuitive. In 2.0 the large blocky pictures almost obscure vital information on equipment and the mech don't have a "front page" where you can see the current loadout. Much additional info like mech quirks don't have a readily apparent button but just appear if you happen to scroll over the right spot.

The mechs need to be more organized. While the current 2.0 is an improvement with mech selection, It would be better if we could drag and drop our mechs into the proper position so we can custom organize the mechs.

While it looks ok (I hope the graphics on the mechs in the mech lab are not final) I find the menus overall are very poorly organized and the colour scheme and poor borders make buttons hazy.

Yeah you can play it free style but it's no fun playing for hours and it's not something one can do if you have a job. I work typically 10 hours in a day I dont feel like grinding for hours after welding all day for a simple virtual item. I rather spend a little bit of money so I can enjoy what I'm interested in, and I have spent decent amount of money, but was hoping would have more of a game at this point. We already know ui2.0 is going to be worthless, cw wont be around for another year if lucky.

I'm glad you have spent hundreds of dollars on a game that has yet to show any of the promises completed. You have no idea if cw will actually ever be released. Only way I would have been a founder is if they gave me a real release date if certain amount of people helpsl fun the game. Well they have gotten plenty of charity so...nothing to show for it. Hard to spend money on a game you feel is just a black hole for your hard earned money.

I guess if you are still living with mom and dad and dont have to go too work, or pay bills guess all the power too ya.

It sadly would not be the first time. - I would link to it, but that probably would get the thread dumped.
One happened whilst Road was on the.... road.

What's great is I don't even have to try anymore. I just have to post in a thread, not even mock or troll, just post, then the apoplectic mouth-breathers come out and make the thread about me.

That happens when one's reputation precedes them.
Just don't start resting on your laurels - cause that is when you start to get yourself in trouble.
(retiring is another matter - or perhaps the exception.... though it can get you in trouble as well.....hmmmm need to think on that one a bit.....)

My comments on the UI 2.0.

Likes:
1) Screen resolution options for the mechbay/store rather than the old tiny one.
2) Being able to swing my mechs around and look at them in 360.
3) Clicking around is very fluid between the top tabs and left menu.
4) Being able to see more mechs on the screen in the mechlab.
5) Mouse over stats on weapons.
6) Having both equipping and armor adjust for a location on one screen.

Dislikes:
1) No longer double click to remove/add items in configure screen.
2) Engine needs a pop up like weapons for stats (heatsinks/internal spots info).
3) Not seeing where it shows weapons mounted on my mechs.
4) Lost the identification of hardpoints on the Mech in the info screen and the mouse over that showed you where on the mech they were located.
5) Mechs in the store don't show any stats or hardpoints with locations.
6) Some filters are better than none, but maybe a numerical tonnage filter would be helpful in light of the coming changes and weight being a consideration in lance drops.
7) Don't think the trial mechs should show up in the "Owned" filter.
8) Left a match after my mech was destroyed. While back in the garage label stated that mech was in a game. Label stayed there for longer than a match time limit and wasn't till i tried clicking play it just started looking for game. Label didn't go away basically even though mech was back in garage.

Just what I noticed.

1: Add some random workers in the cat walks on the front end.
2:A color wheel or small icon color pallete in camo spec
3:Tonnage and slots in corner of item icon in mech lab.
4: During configure in MechLAB needs to be a total tonnage and slots remaining as to aid in configuration.

Love every thing else.. the evolution will be even better!
