Weapons were mostly balanced awhile ago. Sure you're not gonna get a perfect balance because this game cannot be played like Classic Battletech. That doesn't mean then that the devs should adjust for every weapon that people complain about!
I did 919 damage (then 909 so not cuz of luck) with an Orion running 2 LB10x and a large laser. Wanna nerf those too now?
Let's leave the weapons alone.
Some of it isn't just luck either remember. A player might get really good at using AC2 or maybe lasers and they'll hit more and do more damage than your average person. Doesn't mean they should be penalized for that.

I still think they are for the most part. Complaints would be more deserved if aimed at lack of meaningful content, primarily CW's.
Weapons balancing and adjustments are a constant in these types of games, meaningful content however is not and needs to be introduced. Put the nerfs and weapons adjustments on the back burner as well as new paid mechs and maps until the things are most needed are introduced.

Skill is OP and should apparently be nerfed. Thats why high ELO game search times are 20-30 mins.

Gr nerfed, all energy weapons and missiles nerfed due to ghost heat, SRMs nerfed removing splash/lowering their damage/splattering damage everywhere due to the dull tube-like pattern, pulse lasers have never been worth their weight/heat.
Don't call for nerfs.. nerf them, we'll all go back to PPC and GR again. and then another nerf cycle will appear.
The game needs sized hardpoints. Full stop. Do that and magically all weapons will be rebalanced correctly, ghost heat will disappear, lrm and srm rains will be avoided and so on.

Look at the DpS numbers for your ACs Il. You have multiple AC20s. All our ACs o roughly the same damage in 5 seconds. That is the Measure of what AC class you have. Right now we have 4 AC20s.

If your build is inasane enough and your Team/Match Luck supports it many things work.
A single Gauss on the other hand is somewhat lacking bcs it now has an insane cooldown (cooldown + charge) compared to ACs and does not deliver the DPS.
That does not matter if your Alpha is big enough to devastate but matters for single Weapon configs that rely on a higher firing frequency.
