Its not that I don't want effects its just that I don't want a splitting headache after playing a 'game' for 30 minutes.

and I don't like the way the poll, trys to guilt you into voting yes, so its totally invalid

Yes, I want more immersion!

Also I want:
  • To stay in my cockpit when I die. (or an ejection sequence)
  • Working cockpit screens that show useful info
  • A beeping alarm for incoming missiles with frequency increasing as the missiles get closer
  • Recoil from my Autocannons
  • TrackIR support
  • Separate crosshairs for left an right arm
  • Conversion for arms, but not for torso weapons
  • Being able to walk through my mechbay

If anything I think there should also be more external, visual cues to when a maech's armor is exposed. The rag doll is good, and all, but if we're going to be hardcore realism {Godwin's Law} then we should go full out. If we're going to "punish" the player for taking damage lets not make it harder for him to fight back lets just make it more obvious where your enemy should put his rounds.
