You do know the proper way to school newbs is to put them in high-skill situations and beat them repeatedly so they leave, right?
C'mon, I did my time in enough PvP. Having a matchmaker pair you up against people vastly past your skill level is the perfect recipe for making them delete a game. And if you beat them till they quit, the player pool keeps shrinking.
There is a nice saying that goes like this "Practice makes perfect". Perserverance in the face of adversity builds character and makes you better. Every time you have the ability to observe a good tactic that took you out and you actually LEARN from it, you get better. We have tons of guides on the forums here. We have tons of groups willing to pick up new players and train them. If you want to get better you will. If you don't or can't then you wont.
Knowing PvP games as well as you say you do, you should know that there is no 1P "easy mode" in a PvP game. You are going to see people that are good, not so good, new, or just willfully bad. This is also a team game so unless you pick who is on your team, you will get a mixed bag full of the above. When you play a PvP game these are things you need to expect and accept as a given.
But what I really gather from this thread and especially this comment is "I want to win/kill more". Maybe the MM will get updated, maybe not. Until then mom is not here to breat-feed you so you need to do something on your own to put the odd in your favor; studdy tactics, target practice in the training grounds, get somebody to give you pointers/training, check your mech's and loadout to ensure you are not running scrap, and maybe even join a group. Above all if you get rolled turn a painfully truthful eye on why it happened, learn from it, and try to do better next time. If that does not help try playing at different times, the play style of different regions varies so maybe you find someone on par online in another time zone. The US time zone is pretty competative as is the Russian/Asian. Europe and Australia/New Zeland are pretty laid back. Try those time zones.
In the end pi$$ing and moaning is not doing you any good and will not change your situation.
