we've already lost three "super-cool" dudes this week.

Fixed that for you - if they couldn't make it work, they were apparently not that cool

602. Nobody is allowed to ask Commander Stomping or Head Technician Smitt about the Gundoom. Ever. And no, you can't have one.

Oh fine. May we ask instead about project "Mazinger 2?" (Electric Boogaloo?) ._.

Spoiler

606) -this only applies to Women and maybe some men- Victor Davion is not a boy toy (no matter what his sister says).

Wait, does that mean that some men are allowed to refer to Victor Davion as a boy toy?

606- b- Victor Davion is to be referred to as Prince Idiot.

Only in off-battlefield operations.

Call him that on the battlefield, and be prepared to watch your army melt. ;)

608. Clanners are superior, they are not weakened by freebirth concepts like single heat sinks, vegetarianism, or sexual frustration.
666. Kerensky is Jesus, any other opinion is heresy and shall be dealt with via trial of annihilation.

You were I would assume (not really my kind of funny, so I wouldn't know for sure)- but those hit a little close to home for a lot of players, which severely impacts on the funny value.

IE: in some areas of the forum - that would have come across as stupid trolling. ;)

[666???]. Kerensky is Jesus, any other opinion is heresy and shall be dealt with via trial of annihilation.

H'okay you skipped a bunch there. So...

610. Science has produced a helmet [The Neurohelmet] that enables your Battlemech to absorb commands at an instant, visceral level, allowing humanoid mechs' to perform some pretty complicated; for them at least; maneuvers. It is not for making the poor machine perform pelvis thrusts when in the presence of the female technicians. They will not be impressed; and may even be pretty ticked off if you break something. Do not do it.

611. The Malletwas produced by our techs to loosen very snug components. They will, however, not hesitate to use it on a misbehaving Mechwarrior out of the hot seat. Consider that, and also remember that you need them to keep your Battlemech in top condition.

612. There will be no more marching captured enemy pilots to the interrogation room while screaming "[She/He]'s a witch! A witch! We found a witch, might we burn [her/him]?!" The inquisitor's scary enough as is.

612 b. That being said, there will be no more confusing captured enemy pilots by telling them "Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!" on the way to interrogation.

613. Remember, unless it's sent by private Poindexter's mother, the cake is a lie and the pie is a fake. Stop accepting unmarked surprise packages of either.

615. If you barely make it home by welding the top half of an Atlas onto the bottom half of a Jenner or vice versa and your lancemates make fun of you for weeks, just remember: "It looks stupid, but works, it ain't stupid."

617. Rules for dimensional transfer...yes i know its rare but still the chief engineer has asked me to remind you not to leave his mechs behind in other dimensions (see rule 24)
618. if your transferd to a dimension with white mechs witch move faster than a jenner with a a speed tweak and more weapons from a atlas includeding laser swords do not shoot them since from what we know the dimension is based of an old earth anime witch is not to be named on pain of cleaning every mech in the battalion with your toothbrush we recommend walking back thrue the dimensional tear as quickly as possible and hope they dont notice you. ( for those of you who watched late night cartoon network and toonami in the 90's this is for you)

619: The CGI in that 'Not Named Show' was actually amazing back in the day.

I grew up watching shows like The Last Starfighter - don't talk me about shows that had good CGI... "back in the day" :)

Have you seen The Last Starfighter?

If you think that was defamation you might want to watch it again.

622 - When your lancemates ask you to bring the cheesiest mech you own, the options are not cheddar, brie, swiss, gouda etc.
623 - Your cockpit smelling like cheese isn't good enough either - it's gross, please clean it.
624 - painting your mech yellow with deeper yellow spots to resemble cheese isn't right either.
625 - Just ask them what they mean by cheesy if you don't understand, okay?
626 - Do not bring spray paint if your lance asks you to tag the enemy mechs.

I'm not sure.... does algebra not suck in other countries? :D
(don't really get the other two either - I think 24 is a TV show - but I don't watch TV... and a lot of men - and some women - have been referred to as the Greatest American Hero)

628 - Mathematics, in all forms, is lostech. Engineers and scientists just shove things together and hope they work. Sometimes, they do. Sometimes people get blown up, but hey, that's science.
