923. There will be no opening the hatch period in a live-fire situation, even if you're not taking fire.

924. The Narc missile beacon-launcher is not to be referred to as the "Newbie-Aggravating Rage Cannon."

925. We must politely request that germaphobes not be allowed anywhere near their BattleMech; especially if it's equipped with lasers possessing ratings well above TAG; when it's their turn to clean the hanger.

926. Since Jamal won't stop asking, this applies to all of you: No, the techs can't replace your Centurion's right arm weapon with a hand actuator, install a "Beam Rifle" (whatever the **** that is) and add vernier jumpjets for extra ground maneuverability. Jump jets don't work like that.

Also, stop referring to the enemy as "Zaku", "Gouf", "Gelgoog" and "Dom" based on weight class.

927. For the final time, my prototype weapons are not allowed to be field deployed without my permission. I already had to deal with the CO the last time someone took a MAVLYN-armed Mech onto the field.

Clearly, you haven't seen the fine work the Voice of the Dragon does in their studios.

928. When operating under anything with a roof, like tunnels or bridges, it is highly suggested that you disable the auto-eject. Slamming into things while pulling 15Gs gets pretty messy.

929. Please ensure that your Mech meets maximum height clearance before attempting to maneuver under a bridge or similar structure. We had to tear the last Mech's legs before we could clear out the super state highway tunnel. You have no idea how bad the traffic complaints were that day.

930. Stepping in your mech on tanks to use them as powered roller skates is not allowed, and will more than likely result in damaged tanks, and several tank crew members being extremely cross with you. Remember, there is one of you, for every 5+ of them.

934: elementals are, even though they wish, not benders of any element

934a: do not confront elementals with this or they'll kill you

935: there are a number of nicknames for clans you should only use if you want to provoke. such are: clan birdie, clan dank puss, clan puppy, clan teddy

936. How about we just don't confront Elementals AT ALL unless we're in a Battle Armor?

Considering an XL400 weighs half again as much as a locust... how would it fit?

938 a. Never question faulty engineering equipment.
b. Considering the mess, it's not easy to deduce if the engine was "on", or "in" the locust.

937b. Putting a 400 XXL into a Commando, on the other hand is SCIENCE! (And still a bad idea.)

FOR SCIENCE!!!

...and maybe someone 'double-stacked' a 200 standard and 200 XL to make a 400XXL? T'would be significantly lighter than a normal 400XL...but way way bulkier...

(edit to emphasize SCIENCE)

Except that whole buisness that two engines don't net you a linear improvment, not to mention the obvious issues with stabilizing the mess with the internal gyro. If anything, you're just creating a huge mechnical nightmare. There's a reason nobody tried that with BattleMechs after that whole fiasko with those fancy Hybrid designs.

937c: No, we will not reinforce any Light 'Mechs' leg actuators to make it happen, no matter how much you ask. Working with XL300 engines on those [redacted] is difficult enough as it is. Speaking of which, where exactly did you find the budged to purchase and maintain such an expensive piece of hardware? I'd enjoy being paid, you know?
