This was not easy for a new gamer like me to do. My win \ lose ratio is something awful like 1 \ 5. The new mech looks cool. :-)

... you want to strip and sell a champion mech and keep the earlier non-champion Cent?..
Why not do it the other way around on the off hope that some day the 10% more GXP you could get with the Champion version will be useful while haveing exactly the same mech as you had before anyways?
Edit;

You win 5 rounds and after a short while you get an automatic message ingame saying that something has been redeemed (Didnt read it thoughrouly Im afraid) and it will be in your mechbay (no need to log out and in either).

(I actually rebuilt this thing slightly to make it a light 'Mech killer - nice to be able to give some "tough love" back to all those lights who have circled me to death in my slow heavies and assaults in the past... )

You get to keep the mech bay if you sell the mech.

Perfect "challenge" for every newcomer since it's achievable even with bad odds. Still good for a lot of veterans (I didn't own a single Centurion after closed beta) even if it's just for the c-bills and the mech bay.
The whole last week showed a lot of progress in community relations (starter bundles, hero mech sales, hotfixing, THIS, etc.). Chapeau for that. I was in honest doubt that UI2.0 would be such a gamebreaker for you. Please stay on that road. This thread should be example enough, that you can win a lot of your dissapointed customers back. Keep on rollin'.
Yeah... thanks a lot for the gifts! You've unlocked my wallet again I guess.

I've been of the opinion that I'll wait until PGI ...... gives me a way to remove those bloody Trial Mechs from my Mech List.
There is a filter at the top of the "Select Mech" screen. Change the filter to "Owned Mechs".

Achievable for players of less experience and the mech bay is appreciated by mech accumulating veterans. Delivering community warfare and keep doing meaningfully rewarding challenges that are achievable by at least 70% of your player base will go a long way towards retaining players.

Tried reinstall - same
After I don´t know how many times I gave up and played BF4.
Its sad what MWO has become.
I prefer a lousy but working more than a over complicated new not working UI2.0

Maybe you could do this for mechs who don't get a lot of love so we can see more on the battlefield too just to mix it up some?

Was in one match with 8 Centurion champions this weekend.
We lost horribly. So worth it though!

This is what it was like for me as well... Loss, after loss, after loss - but I finally got my 5 wins late last night, and I was shocked at how quickly the CN9-A + Mechbay were dropped into my Mechlab!
The interesting part though, is that most of my losses were fairly close games. There were only a few stomps.
Can it be that all of the extra players, all working for the Cent, actually allowed the MM to function properly?
Anyhow, great challenge PGI.
Well done.

I experienced match after match where I dropped with half a team of clueless noobs in trial Mechs who got ROFLstomped by premades and then left me and four others to face an entire enemy team which was barely damaged. Mostly we'd lost 12-3 or worse, though once I scored 5 personal kills and four assists... and still only resulted in a draw.
Rather than a Centurion, can my reward please be to drop with and against players of similar skill level?
Good challenge, anyway.
