You do know they're developing a smurfy type mech lab right?
And yea, I'm not clicking random .exe files someone posts in a forum. ESPECIALLY this forum

Brilliant work! Maybe you can email it to support. 'Nudge' them in the right direction

The latest news is that the next UI will have a "Display Only" smurfy style look. This is a non functional version to start. Meaning your will not be able to change anything on the screen, strictly a test version for functionality. The actual working version will be in a later install.
This was stated in the last 3 part Podcast's with Bryan Ekman. The NGNG edition.
- There have been many examples posted of what it should look like, but we have not seen the actual "in MechLab" version.

Reference any of the older Mech Warrior games and there UI Mech Lab.
- and directed at all the posters that have or show examples of some UI/smurfy sample. -
All those game's were hard coded items, we are currently experiencing "flash" presentations for the UI. Totally different interaction required for operation. Having a pop-in smurfy type of display would need to be a similar function, but it needs to talk with all the other aspects of the UI. The players inventory, the new store, checking the current market availability and price (as we get into CW and the market changes.), all need to be talking in the same language.
The new UI changes, the introduction of PGI's style smurfy layout, and tweaks to what we currently have now are being worked on. It may seem deadly slow, but everything needs to work as one interface, with new items just being "plugged" in as needed.
We should see quite a few new changes with DX11, the engine update, and all the additions on Mar4.

PS: If you don't want to run the application then at least read the readme file.
