Just am coming from a match where my ping was between 250 and 440ms, averaging 350ms. A normal value would be around 160ms +-30ms without jumping around.
I'm playing from Germany, but my trace route log shows that I'm walking to Canada over Amsterdam and London. So, that is similar to the problems reported here before me.

The latency increase between hop 8 and hop 9 is 130-140 ms. If the hostname resolution is correct then those 2 routers are both in Frankfurt, and there should be no more than a 10 ms variance between those 2 points. They likely have a very congested/overworked router or something along those lines that's causing connectivity issues.
This trace also highlights an issue that can impact most users. All it takes is one router on the path to have issues and every successive hop will see those issues as well.

Thanks. So, the game servers are not to blame for my problems then... okay. Something I blamed on problems with the new UI too quickly.
I just don't fully understand these ping values reported by tracert. How am I to read these values from my log 1?
That during the test performed by the program, one network congestion was resolving... causing lower ping values for servers farther away?

it looks like the MWO traffic isnt prioritised
Traffic Queue Hex Value Example Titanium 0xa0 Gaming & VoIP Gold 0x80 or 0x60 Interactive traffic Silver 0x40 Unclassified traffic Bronze 0x20 or 0x00 Non-interactive traffic
on my trace it shows 0x00

I did get a reply from PlusNet, this is what they said
"The error appears to be outside our domain as the trace routes that were completed on the forum show that the loss of connection is passed the first few hops which would be us and fails hitting the game server, it maybe that the game uses a particular port to connect too and if you are having an issue you may need to reconfigure the router to allow this port to allow traffic"
I have also requested that the game be added to the list
